Unbelievable customer service here My wife and I were in the market for a luxury sedan and had narrowed down our choices to two cars; the Acura TL and the Lexus ES 350. To assist in our My wife and I were in the market for a luxury sedan and had narrowed down our choices to two cars; the Acura TL and the Lexus ES 350. To assist in our search, I sent out multiple requests for quotes using a few websites such as yahoo auto and car.com. I actually live close to a Lexus dealer, but we wanted to do our homework and get quotes from multiple dealerships across Chicagoland. In a very short time, I had quotes coming in from all over the place. Terris sent me a personalized email to which I responded. I was upfront with him and explained I was getting quotes from all over and that I was also considering the Acura TL. Terris responded with the best quote on the Lexus ES 350 I had received so far. He went one step further and provided links with information on comparisons of the Acura TL and the Lexus ES 350. Over the course of the day there were another couple correspondences, within one of which I had explained I was also trying to get a quote from my local dealership but was having one problem, the specifics of which are not important. Terris explained he used to work at my local dealership and told me who I should speak with to correct the problem I was experiencing. I took Terris' advice and as a result my local dealership was able to provide me with a quote that was equally as good as the Woodfield Lexus offer. Because of my preference of purchasing our new car at our local dealership, I was not able to close on a deal with Woodfield. However, the customer service I received from the Woodfield Lexus - Terris Cooper in particular - was outstanding. It was exactly what I had hoped I'd receive from a dealership selling luxury cars, at prices I don't take lightly. I was impressed with his quote but particularly impressed with Terris' willingness to provide me the information I needed, even if it increased the likelihood of me buying a car somewhere else. This is good customer service, compelling enough for me to create a DealerRater.com account to write this review. I will be recommending Terris and Woodfield Lexus to my friends who live in the Schaumburg area and anyone else in Chicagoland looking for a Lexus at a competitive and honest price. While circumstance led me to buy more local, this experience was much appreciated and worthy of note. More

We could buy different car for the same price. After FOUR months they asked for $ 5.500 more. Do not believe anything they say, we will NOT recommend Woodfield Lexus as a trustful place to spend a 50 grand or above . - the Lexus Family . After we secured financing on your behalf, you requested a color change which resulted in a special order from the manufacture. As a courtesy, we allowed you to drive a service loaner free of charge during the wait. This was mainly done due to the lack of reliability of your trade-in vehicle and inclement weather fast approaching. When the vehicle arrived, approximately 100 days after the original loan approval, the loan application is required to be resubmitted. Unfortunately at that time Lexus Financial services was no longer willing to extend financing. When we learned of this news, Woodfield Lexus agreed to sell the vehicle at a lower price to try and aid in attaining financing. Lexus financial would still not extend financing based on the information that was being provided by the consumer. Despite the change in outcome, Woodfield Lexus did not attempt to charge you for any use of the rental vehicle. The deposit and trade-in vehicle were returned to you in a timely fashion after repeated calls requesting the return of the loaner vehicle. We are sorry that this happened, but Woodfield Lexus can not take responsibilty for your unfortunate circumstances. We came with exact colors to order and was told - yes we will have it tomorrow ( it was December 22 so shall be just the day before Christmas. It supose to be the Christmas present. Offff course item sold score before the end of the year is important to you . No one has told us - you didn't buy any car they just taking you on hold ..and We DID waited and waited ,from day to day ,being told that next Saturday will be shipping from Ohio , another week from somwhere els and so for. By the end of January they say that they have to order it from the factory so we waited till APRIL just to hear that our credit score went down (you checked it 12 times)..but if we pay $ 5,500 extra it will be fine. Off course we drove rental car from you what else could we drive since they took our car and cash ? What's your help now ? That you explaining just the dry talk of the sales person? My husband and I have owned the same GX 460 Lexus since 2003. It had just under 200,000 miles and still very reliable. I had been looking online at the new 2014 GX 460 Lexus when I got a call from Terris Cooper. After a few minutes of talking to him he made me feel like he wanted my business and it would be worth my time to drive from Chicago to Schaumburg, IL. I'm very happy I did because I ended up driving our new Lexus home that day and even got a fair trade in on my 2003 Lexus. Terris is very knowledgeable, honest and went out of his way to make purchasing a vehicle a no pressure pleasant experience. Before I left the dealership Terris went over all the details with me and the next day came into the city and assist us in setting up our personalized settings and went over the vehicle with my husband. I'm sure I will be taking my vehicle out to Woodfield Lexus for all my service needs. I was told if I couldn't get out to Schaumburg they would pick the car up for me, service it and bring it back to the city. I know Terris will be there to help answer any questions we may have in the future. Now that is service I have never had before. Having shopped and bought luxury vehicles from dealerships before, Terris Cooper and Woodfield Lexus certainly stands above all the rest! More
