Rory, we are confused by your comments. While we grant that your salesperson had originally asked that you get a quote (not acceptable), we later arranged to come pick up your vehicle and have a key cut for you. We also ordered a part and had it shipped directly to your home to save you a trip. Your title paperwork was ready for pickup on 9/9, and we absolutley did do an inspection, and emailed you a copy of the inspection the same day you requested it, so we arent sure how you incurred any late registration penalties. However, if you would like to provide a copy of your registration receipt to illustrate the late penalties, we'd be happy to reimburse them if the dealership caused you not to be able to register before 9/20. We apologize that it was not disclosed to you that this vehicle was a repossession. Due to the sensitive nature of the relationship to customer payment history, there is not any sort of national database or registry where dealers can look up that a vehicle had been repossesed by the former lender, nor is this commonly disclosed at vehicle auctions. As a result, it is not included in our vehicle descriptions, and does not affect vehicle value or impact your transaction with our dealership.
