I ended up going to another dealer to address one of the two issues my engine is experiencing — specifically, the oil pump problem. I had previously informed Mr. Di about this issue and even mentioned that two issues my engine is experiencing — specifically, the oil pump problem. I had previously informed Mr. Di about this issue and even mentioned that BMW has a TSB related to it. The problem involves the engine not reading oil pressure properly due to a plastic component inside the oil pump. Unfortunately, Mr. Di was dismissive when I tried to explain this. He interrupted me, saying, “I’m speaking, let me talk,” which I found quite rude and unprofessional. Despite my explanation, he insisted the issue was with the engine itself and advised me to continue driving the vehicle with a faulty oil pump — which is both unsafe and irresponsible. It became clear to me that Mr. Di may not fully understand how an oil pump functions. He focused more on oil consumption rather than addressing the lack of oil pressure, which was the more immediate concern. I don’t like speaking negatively about anyone, but this experience was very frustrating and disappointing. More
