Beaware while buying a used car Absolutely horrible. They might sell you a lemon. I bought a used car and next day found a defect. They did not fix it and were very rude. Absolutely horrible service. Beware. Find a different servic e center. Went in for a routine oil change. I was lied to by Stepen Sovis about the cost of additional repairs. Overpriced unnecessary repairs I went in for an oil change and was told that my inner tie rod needed replacing. The quote was for over $1200. When I questioned why I had to replac I went in for an oil change and was told that my inner tie rod needed replacing. The quote was for over $1200. When I questioned why I had to replace my rack and pinion too when all I needed was one inner tie rod, I was told that it was a package that the manufacturer sent out and Spartan had to replace all of it at the same time. Checked this out on youtube, and NO, not true according to numerous people's videos demonstrating how easy it was to change the inner tie rod on my particular make, model and year. So I called a reputable small local shop and I now have a new tie rod and total bill was $252. I saved about $1000 by not using Spartan Toyota's repair shop. I think they must change managers at Spartan because I know I've had good service in the past. So - ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION. Even if you have to pay for the second opinion, it may save you hundreds of dollars. More
dirty hands with attitude Recently, i had the opportunity to visit Spartan Toyota. Before setting foot at the dealership i had already been handed off 3 times, and then a 4t Recently, i had the opportunity to visit Spartan Toyota. Before setting foot at the dealership i had already been handed off 3 times, and then a 4th time before it was all done. Upon getting there, i was introduced to a 3rd person a "sales consultant" . A sales person ! He processed in his matter a fact deminer, repeating himself like a broken record despite any and all questions i had for him. I asked again for clarification on a certain model car. His response was that of a flipent pre teen girl. I asked again, thinking i had not asked the question correctly so as to be understood. Again , with another flipent reply, from the car sales person. I reminded him of the fact that , I was the customer and that he was the sales person. That i had chosen to come there, and that i very well could be somewhere else. He imidiatly replied by saying " you should talk to someone else " I waited, then a few minutes later a 4th sales person appears along with a 5th person. He said hello and streched out his hand to greet me. This is the same guy i saw leaving the mens bathroom stall , as i was coming in AND NOT WASHING His hands! ! Im not about to shake that kind of persons hand. So i didn't. He asked if they had offended me. I said yes, and choosing not to further embrace him in front of his peers, i left. The manager did call some time later. I explained my side of the story. He did apologize, however i don't think ill be going back there again. Thought you should know. More

Bought a replacement battery at 40k miles and was told it had an 8 yr full warranty. Had lengthy discusses on how great that was. Today was told it is only a 2 yr full warranty and continues to depreciate after 24 months. Rip Off! And I have had service there. Bought extended maintenance package etc. Still not considered a 'real' customer. More

Gerry came out and greeted me as soon as I pulled up but not in a pushy, typical salesman way. I felt very comfortable with him immediately. This was not the first dealership on which I called, but was certainly the most professional and courteous. All the staff here were extremely pleasant and willing to assist in any way they could. They had the vehicle I was looking for and in the condition I desired. They worked with me on the price and also took my Camry as a trade in giving me the value I was looking for. I would highly recommend this dealership. More

Purchased this 2010 Mini Cooper on December 1, 2016 from Gerry Sibanda. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Spartan Toyota with Gerry. He is very professional and makes it very clear that he cares about the satisfaction of his customers. You couldn't ask for a sales person for more attention and willing to make sure you get what you need. I would recommend this dealership, and especially, Gerry to anyone. The Used Car Mgr., Rick Artibee, was also very helpful and did his best to give us a very good deal. All in all, buying this vehicle from Spartan Toyota and working with these two has been a terrific experience. More
