Fast courteous service. I was quite pleased with my first service experience at Spartan Toyota. One concern is the fact that I cannot tell precisely what was done to my vehic I was quite pleased with my first service experience at Spartan Toyota. One concern is the fact that I cannot tell precisely what was done to my vehicle, per the invoice/service report. It shows "1st TC NO COST SVC-TIRE ROT, MPI, INSP/ADJ FLUIDS". I assume this means that my tires were rotated, a multi-point inspection was performed, and fluids were inspected & adjusted. Was an oil change & lube performed? Is that part of the "INSP/ADJ FLUIDS"? If not, does that mean that I will not receive an oil change until my next scheduled service in September? That seems like a long time before a first oil change. It would be helpful for the invoice/service report to document specifics of service - both performed and future recommendations. Perhaps the technician could at least go over the invoice and service, explaining what was done/still needs to be done? I was merely told that my vehicle was ready, handed the invoice, scheduled the next visit and directed to my car ... no explanations given. I felt quite rushed at the end. BTW, I rated quality of work at 4 stars, only because I am having to assume what was done and the quality therein. On a final note: I truly appreciate the fact that my car was washed after it was serviced. Thank you! More

Best place around Came in for an oil change. Went to Lexus of Ann Arbor previously and they kept trying to push getting the $400 30k mile service that I certainly could Came in for an oil change. Went to Lexus of Ann Arbor previously and they kept trying to push getting the $400 30k mile service that I certainly could not afford at the time, so I ended up leaving. Spartan Toyota of Lansing is absolutely the best, though. No pushing for extra services that you don't need or can't afford. They completely understand your situation. Turn around was very quick, under an hour, I believe. Overall, 5/5 stars. I bought my car there and will keep taking it back there every time I need to. More

Only complaint is that my electronic remote has never worked to start the car from a distance but just to look at it would’ve cost an additional $100 so I passed on that one. More
FAST OIL CHANGE AND FREE WASH AND GREAT SERVICE I BROUGHT MY 2011 AVALON INTO SPARTEN TOYOTA ON MARCH 29TH FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND DASH WARNING LIGHT ISSUE. I WAS WELCOMED AT THE ENTRANCE BY TERRY MO I BROUGHT MY 2011 AVALON INTO SPARTEN TOYOTA ON MARCH 29TH FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND DASH WARNING LIGHT ISSUE. I WAS WELCOMED AT THE ENTRANCE BY TERRY MOUBRAY AND HE TOOK MY INFO AND CAR AND IN ABOUT 45 MIN. HE CAME TO THE WAITING ROOM TO TELL ME IT WAS COMPLETED. THAT WAS FAST AND HE ALSO WASHED IT FOR FREE. THIS IS WHAT I CALL EXCELLENT SERVICE!! I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM SPARTAN ON 05/25/10 AND HAVE RETURNED IT TO SPARTAN FOR ALL MY SERVICE NEEDS EVEN THOUGH IT IS A 120 MILE ROUND TRIP. SERVICE MATTERS AND THE TOYOTA BRAND STANDS HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE BIG 3 AND OTHER CAR BRANDS. I ONLY HAVE 56245 MILES ON IT IN 9 YRS AND HOPE TO PUT ANOTHER 50,000 ON IT BEFORE I RETIRE IT. Excellent Service Work I called a local repair facility to schedule a break pad replacement (both front and rear). My wife suggested that I call the dealership, just to com I called a local repair facility to schedule a break pad replacement (both front and rear). My wife suggested that I call the dealership, just to compare costs. Spartan Toyota had the same pricing, let me schedule the repair when I wanted it done, they offer a shuttle service that took me to work and picked me up when the repair was complete, and washed the car before returning it to me. They also inspected the rear breaks a determined that they did not need to be changed yet (saving us well over $200). Spartan Toyota will be my FIRST call in the future! More
