In nearly 50 years of driving and having my cars ('69 Cougar, '73 Celica, '79 Supra, Cressida, '07 Avalon) serviced in several locations in Boston, I've never received anything like the quality customer service I've received from Woburn Toyota. From start to finish: from choosing the vehicle to driving it away, this is a dealership that I would recommend to all of my friends - without hesitation. I would like to thank Robin Duquette, Floor Manager, for greeting me and making sure that I met with the folks that I needed to. I Especially thank Nema Heshmatpour, Sales Consultant for his wonderful, welcoming and outgoing attitude and his professionalism in guiding me through the car-buying process and ensuring that I was conversant in the operation of the car before I finally drove away. Purchase a new vehicle Could have been much better, few issues With the delivery. The car was not ready when it was promised. Had t o come back and spend 2 -3 hrs waiting for the key to be made. Had to come back and sign financial paper again since mistake were made when original financial document were prepared and signed. Lack of communication / customer service We had a very poor experience buying a new car from this dealer. It's a long story: 1) We were quick to choose/purchase our car and waited forever to We had a very poor experience buying a new car from this dealer. It's a long story: 1) We were quick to choose/purchase our car and waited forever to meet with financing 2) The finance manager, Ani, was nice, and the most responsive of all the employees we worked with. We were not happy with the original interest rate offered, and he got us a better rate, but only after we said we had to think about it - we wouldn't have gotten it if we hadn't taken our time to "think about it"... 3) When we went to pick up our car on the scheduled date our sales person, Edwin was MIA - as was the car! We waited around for about a half hour before Ani came out to tell us that they couldn't find the car, they would call us the next day, and if couldn't find it we would have to re-contract. He offered us an extended year on our service package, which was nice, but didn't really make up for the fact that they couldn't find our car, and the fact that they seemed completely unprepared for the fact that we were expecting to pick up our car that day. 4) The next morning, I called my insurance company to find out if they had even contacted them to process the insurance & registration and was told that the insurance company had just received the details that morning (the day after we were supposed to pick up the car)! 5)I waited until the afternoon and when I didn't get a call, I called the dealer to get a status update. I was routed around and around on hold and couldn't get anyone on the phone. Finally I tried explaining my story to one of the receptionists who said that the Gen. Mgr would call me back in 15 minutes. Which never happened. 2 hours later I called back asking to talk to the Gen. Mgr and was told "I'll follow up with him again, bye" and was basically hung up on. I called back, asked to be connected directly to Edwin, who seemed to still be MIA in this whole situation, and left a vm. I called back again and finally got a sales person on the phone. I explained my story and that I was simply looking to speak to anyone who could tell me what was going on with the new car I had purchased (for which the deposit had been cashed). He said someone would call me right back, and thankfully, Ani called me back within 30 seconds to tell me that the car was in transit and had never arrived and that it was scheduled for arrival the next day and I could pick up in 2 days. They would call to confirm as soon as it arrived. 6) At 5 pm the next day, I finally got a call from Edwin, which was the first time I heard from him since the sale the next day that the car hadn't arrived, but would definitely be ready for pick up the next day. We ended up waiting an additional day due to our schedule. There was no apology for not being there when we went to pick up the car, that they couldn't find the car, or for the lack of communication. He briefly mentioned that he had tried to call but had the wrong number on file, but gave no explanation for the missing car situation at all. 7) When we picked up the car, the registration was still not available, so my husband had to make another trip back to the dealer later in the week to pick up the registration. Since they didn't have the registration final, they also hadn't completed the inspection for us, so we will need to do that on our own (they did offer to reimburse us). [There was also a small plastic piece missing between the windshield and the hood of the car - which they had ready/replaced for us when we picked up the registration, but the car was obviously not inspected thoroughly before delivery.] Overall - I found the entire experience to be frustrating. I didn't even care about having to wait for my car, it was the lack of communication/customer service that really upset me. All it would have taken to make this a good experience would have been to have someone be proactive about letting me know what was going on with the car, but they didn't even seem to know themselves. We love the car, but don't think we'll buy another car from this dealer. More
