We brought a brand new 2009 Toyta Camry from them. The salesman try to pay tricks which we is understandable, we pay the price as we expected and got the car. Only after 4 days driving the car (still i salesman try to pay tricks which we is understandable, we pay the price as we expected and got the car. Only after 4 days driving the car (still in the same tank of gas that the dealer gave us), the "Check Engine" light is on and we took it back to the dealer. What they found out is the cap on the tank is not the original one and make the "check engine" light on. I would think they mess up when they fill the gas but the sales try to make is as our responsability that we brought a different cap and gasket and replace it. It cost $112 to fix it and they want us to pay for it. Because the cap on the car is not the original cap, this is not under warranty. The salesman insist that we changed the cap because he said he filled the tank by himself and it was the original cap when he gave us the car. After some long talking, he agree to pay for fixing it, but he still imply that we are the dishonest one who change the cap. There are tons of Toyota dealers around, just don't go for this one. More
I do not give this dealer good ratings at all for a number of reasons: 1) The person I dealt with, Art, did not listen to me. I asked for a specific Prius (package and color) and he kept offering me w number of reasons: 1) The person I dealt with, Art, did not listen to me. I asked for a specific Prius (package and color) and he kept offering me what he had in stock. He never looked up what I wanted to give me a quote or to find out how long it would be until they might have one I wanted in stock. 2) Their BBB rating is satisfactory, however, they have had 18 complaints over the past 3 years. This was way above the average number of complaints for other dealers in the area. I felt like dealing with this dealership was a waste of time. I would recommend Lexington or Acton toyota. (If it's still there.. the "reply" from Woburn's Diana D'avanzo cannot be real.. here's why: She has horrible grammar, unprofessional comments (talking about her boyfriend), and incorrectly states that the 6th of January is a Sunday (its a Saturday). Lastly, she says she is 38 years old and has been working there for 22 years (so she began he 22 yr career when she was 16????)) I reported it as a false posting. More
I had my '03 Toyota Sequoia with 53,000 miles diognosed by Woburn Toyota and they found that the ECU computer and Steering Angle Sensor were bad. The repair estimate for the ECU computer alone was $1500.00 by Woburn Toyota and they found that the ECU computer and Steering Angle Sensor were bad. The repair estimate for the ECU computer alone was $1500.00. I decided to call the national Toyota Customer Care #(800-331-4331) and see if Toyota would stand behind their vehicle. These people put me in touch with Diana D'Avano, the customer service manager @ Woburn Toyota, the closest dealership to my home. D'Avano reviewed my history with her dealership and decided based upon the VERY limited imformation that was available to her that I was NOT worthy of Woburn Toyotas' support. What did she base this on? She saw that I had been in for a diognostics of the vehicle due to the engine light being on 4 months earlier when I purchased the vehicle. The result was that I needed an oxygen sensor replaced. But because I shopped around for the best price and had another shop do the repair I was now BLACKLISTED as far as Woburn Toyota is concerned. She made it personal instead of keeping it professional. My purchasing a new Serpintine belt from their parts department just last week meant nothing. I called Toyota customer service back and they would assist me no further even though I found out that there was a Technical Service Bulletin for this exact problem. So please keep in mind that A) Toyota does not stand behind their product. And B) Woburn Toyota Service Support is just what you probably suspected. Terrible!!! And they wonder why dealerships have a bad reputation... More
Gary Holterhaus was very low pressure. Here's the deal. Hope we can do business. After delivery, we found a discrepancy on an option. We called Gary and he said that he would get it resolved. Sure I Hope we can do business. After delivery, we found a discrepancy on an option. We called Gary and he said that he would get it resolved. Sure I thought, "Check's in the mail. Love ya in the morning." The issue was promptly resolved to our complete satisfaction thanks to Gary. There should be more car salesmen like him. Only down side was the business office. Kept us waiting 3/4 hour to do the paperwork and then fouled up the names on the paperwork which created problems with CT DMV. With the exception of the one person in the business office, a very positive experience. More
I went to go buy a used car here and spoke with Roy. I had been to several car dealerships by this point and Roy was by far one of the coolest car dealers I have ever met. He was incredibly low pressure, had been to several car dealerships by this point and Roy was by far one of the coolest car dealers I have ever met. He was incredibly low pressure, almost to a fault (though not quite) and was very understanding of my reservations and concerns about the car. He genuinely seemed like he wanted me to get the right car for me, and not like he wanted to just line his pockets. If you go, ask for Roy! More
