There are a ton of other Toyota dealerships in the area to choose from. Even if you get a good quote, the price is not worth it to deal with their deceit and disrespect! My wife and I had a terrible experience at this location in fall 2019. We knew we were interested in a 2019 or 2020 RAV4 hybrid and had collected many quotes online in advance of the dealership visit. At Woburn Toyota, from the beginning of the encounter, everyone who talked to us referred to us as “girls,” which was very disrespectful. Would these same salespeople have referred to two professional men in their mid-30s as “boys” for the sales encounter? I think not. After an hour of discussion, it looked like that the dealership did not have and could not get the kind/color of vehicle we were looking for. Since we had already identified available vehicles fitting our description at other dealerships we got up and left. We were stopped by the sales floor manager (Wally Sabet) who came running out of the building to tell us that he had found us a vehicle after all – a 2020 RAV4 XLE hybrid that fit what we were looking for. He said that they got the vehicle through a swap that they had been working on in the back room, and showed us the vehicle printout. He seemed desperate to make a sale to meet an end of the month quota. Several hours later we agreed on the price and left a 5K deposit. We were told that we would be contacted later that day to coordinate the time to pickup the vehicle, because it had to be transferred from the other dealership. No call came. The next day, I called our sales person (not Wally) who ultimately explained that despite saying they had the vehicle and taking our deposit, the vehicle that we thought we had purchased had actually already sold at the other dealership, and the swap had never been agreed upon in the first place. We had wasted a whole day at their dealership for nothing. The sales person said that our money would be fully refunded to my credit card within 5-7 business days. He sent me a picture of the check request and said it had been processed. Fast forward to 9 business days later… still no refund. I again contacted the dealership and I was told that the check request was actually not previously processed due to a “mistake” in their accounts payable department, but that it would be processed that day. I had to hound them repeatedly to get a formal receipt showing that the refund had been processed. Even so, my refund remains in limbo. If you want to buy a Toyota, do yourself a favor and go to any dealership other than Woburn! (We ended up going to Wellesley Toyota where they found us the perfect vehicle at a great price, weren't pushy, and completed the sale within 2 hours.) More
Great salesperson (Kal) who was the opposite of pushy and aggressive...also great finance department (Chuck) who did not try to push extras and actually got our interest rate lowered! The salesperson Michael Quigley used both knowledge and creativeness in selling me my Prius he went beyond his role and actually devised a method for me to close the trunk which I couldn't reach. Negotiation with the price was smooth and Troy and Wally Sabet, a Sales Manager, got me an excellent price. Both men are knowledgeable and made good recommendations to help me with my budget. The dealership itself is impressive, very large and modern with a huge inventory to choose from. Everyone who helped me through the car buying process was friendly and knowledgeable. The Toyota sales team made sure I got everything I needed. I recommend checking out this dealership if you're in the market for a new vehicle! More
I brought my car in for service early, as I assumed that I would be there until Noon or later. Was I surprised that 45 minutes later my vehicle was completed.
