The new car buying experience: Below satisfactory and at times frustrating. The prices on the website are too good to be true. They show what you would get with all rebates applied. The majority of buyers won't qualify for. Own an existing Hyundai. Military. Another is using in-house Hyundai financing which is easily a minimum of 2% more than most other lenders. During the test drive as I was inspecting the vehicle, I was advised that there could be mistakes on the advertising as far as what features exist on the car compared to what was listed on their official website. I arrived at about 12:30ish on a rainy Sunday and didn't get out until 6pm. That's with already knowing which car I wanted, 1 test drive, an "appraisal" on the trade in vehicle, negotiating the price and awaiting the financing. The last two parts alone took about 2 hours each. During the negotiating I was constantly told I was being made a deal they don't normally offer. That this was an exception. That it was a rainy day special. They were making a loss on the deal, etc. They were relentless in making sure in-house financing was through Hyundai. My points being that this was no where near what was advertised on the website and the fact the new car (2017 model) was pulling left on the test drive. A new car with 110 miles on it, pulling left into traffic! I didn't receive any comprise on the cost of the vehicle and only adjustment I saw was on the trade-in value. For a period that was supposed to be quiet for them, cause of the rain, hence the "rainy day special", they had three other buyers in front of us holding up the financing process. Took almost an hour and thirty minutes to meet the one gentlemen they had on staff to handle this process. Fortunately he was the most honest and direct person there. Once in his office I was out within 30 minutes with the keys and all the documents signed. The kicker was the follow up phone call the next day. Let me make this clear, the vehicle is mine, paperwork and all, financed via me. The follow up call was made to my partner who isn't on the paper work nor financing, but did own the traded in vehicle that we used. Is the owner of the vehicles opinion not important? If this call was made before the purchasing survey was completed, which impacts them financially, a more accurate story would have been told rather than the glowing review for their corporate. The process was almost painful and would have otherwise gotten a 1 star, their saving grace being the product and the finance person (not counting the wait time). If your looking for a new Hyundai and a painless process, consider another dealership. More

The car that was advertised was on the lot and as I was checking it out a very friendly salesman greeted me and gave me a comprehensive overview. It looked great so I took it for a test drive. The car was perfect for my needs and I was able to settle on a great deal! The financing was quick and I was on the road in my new car without a hitch.
