I have been a few times in the last 6 months without an appointment for small issues (new battery for fob and problem with computer part, etc). I was cheated out of $2500 of equity on my trade in. I was pushed into an extended waarranty that won't pay out a dime because the vehicle is still covered by manufacturers warranty. I picked this dealership because I live in Salem and had heard good things about Withnell. I had a 2002 Dodge Stratus as a trade-in. They squeezed me in on short notice and completed the service ahead of scheduled pick-up time! Prices are a little high but I would rather have dealer service versus "the oill-change-places" handling my vehicle service. I do not like the car wash and wish they would offer a hand wash like they did in the past. Thanks! More
My car had a lot of work done to it in the past two months and each time I came in I felt welcomed. The Service department are great people and most others places that I took my other cars they are not friendly and don't take the time in becoming personable with you. This service department is friendly and helps reduce the stress just by being friendly and caring towards the people that come through the doors. More
The sales presentation by Jose Cruz was straight forward with no high pressure. He got the sales price from management and presented it to us. His supervisor used the same low sales pressure in presenting with no high pressure. He got the sales price from management and presented it to us. We accepted the sales offer and proceeded to Bill Howard, Finance Director to complete the paper work. Bill was in the same low pressure mode as the preceeding management members. Bill compared the cash plan for the car vs. the leasing plan. We accepted the leasing plan over the cash plan as it made more economic sence to us. We would not have known of the leasing plan advantage had it not been for Bill Howard presenting the alternate plan to us. The sales members are very professional and a credit to Withnell Motor Company. It is refreshing to walk into a car sales outlet and be given the facts necessary to make a decision on buying a new car with out a canned high pressure presentation. I would recommend Withnell Motor Company and their professional staff to any one in the market for a new car. More
