Severe Damage from Auto Body Repair Department My 2017 Jeep Renegade, which I purchased from Susquehanna Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge in June of last year, was hit twice during the March 21st snow storm w My 2017 Jeep Renegade, which I purchased from Susquehanna Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge in June of last year, was hit twice during the March 21st snow storm while parked in front of my house. Fortunately, both people stopped, called the police, and had insurance. My auto insurance is through Erie, and I was recommended by both Erie and Susquehanna to come to Wissler’s to have my repairs done. I brought my car to the body shop at Wissler’s for an assessment, and then brought my car back on April 2nd for the repairs. I was finally able to pick up my Jeep on Tuesday, April 17th. During this period, I was given a massive Chevy Suburban from Enterprise which I couldn’t even park in front of my home due to its obnoxious size. When I picked up the car on the 17th, I noticed the brakes were squeaky, which I was told was just rust build up that would resolve with driving, which it did. I drove my car home from Mount Joy back to downtown Lancaster. On Thursday, April 19th, I drove my car from Lancaster City to Leola and then to Hershey and back home. I only noticed that my muffler sounded slightly louder than usual, but it did not seem suspect. On Friday, the 20th, after working for 12 hours, as a nurse, I was parked in the Target parking lot on Fruitville Pike when I noticed there was new damage to the right side of my lower bumper. Upon further inspection, I realized that the bumper covered up the ENTIRE side-by-side exhaust pipes, which had then subsequently burnt a hole through the bumper and was very hot. I immediately drove home and parked the car. Upon making a personal Facebook post about the severity of the situation, I was contacted by Ted on Saturday morning, who had gotten wind of the post before I had a chance to call the body shop. Mind you, I was also scheduled to work Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 7pm. I told Ted that I preferred to speak with my insurance company before agreeing to bring the car back and I would not be able to do anything until Monday. I did not, at anytime, feel that that the response from Wissler’s was concerned with the serious nature of this negligence. I spoke with Erie on Monday and was assisted in organizing the additional repairs. I requested, upon speaking with Susquehanna directly, that the Jeep should be evaluated for any engine issues after the bumper was repaired. My Jeep was picked up at my house on Monday, after hours of fielding a horrendous amount of phone calls. This time was planned to be spent completing school work for my nursing bachelor’s degree, which put me seriously behind schedule. The rental car I was then giving was a ridiculous Nissan Cube. Yesterday I had to call the auto body shop to ask for an update. Today I was notified via text message, by Susquehanna, that my car had come in for inspection. I never got a call from your body shop, and due to my schedule, had limited time to pick up my car. When I picked up my car, my gas tank was on empty. When I asked about that, Ted told me there was a gas station down the street. I have never experienced such dismissive customer service. As a woman, I am horrified that your men in that shop would treat me with such utter disrespect, unwilling to acknowledge the gravity of the error. In several different ways, I could have been killed, and I assure you sir, I am in no way being dramatic. The amount of times that I was “blown-off” by your staff, and to end the situation with an empty gas tank is completely unacceptable. I have contacted Susquehanna as well as the Chrysler corporate headquarters to file a formal complaint. I have been advised to seek legal counsel, as well as email you directly. I have also notified the Better Business Bureau to address this negligence. I do not feel this matter was addressed with sincerity or a concern that matches the severity of the situation. The disrespectful handling of this situation also makes it clear to me how your auto body shop treats women. More

Not as honest a service company as I thought Please take the time to read this review. My wife and I have been going to wisslers because it is close to our house and we have heard great things ab Please take the time to read this review. My wife and I have been going to wisslers because it is close to our house and we have heard great things about them. We recently took my wife's car in for an inspection, oil change and tire rotation. We were not aware of any problems with her car but when they did the inspection they said that it failed for the left and right front lower control arms having excessive play. They also recommended an alignment for the car pulling to the right. We were not thrilled about spending a total of $668 for everything but we gave them the ok because it needed to be done to pass inspection and I didn't want the car pulling to the right. They also recommended replacing the tires but they did pass inspection so we passed on that because we could get another year out of them before our next inspection. We went to pick up the car that night and while driving it home heard a very loud grinding/screeching noise from the left front tire. We immediately took it back and dropped it off for them to look at the next day. The next day we got a call saying they heard the noise and it was due to the tires being in such bad shape. I didn't believe that tires could make that sound but they assured me that that was the problem. I gave them the go ahead to replace the tires for an additional $461 only because they said it would fix the noise and I did not feel like my wife was safe driving the car with that sound. They replaced the tires the next day. When we picked up the car and drove it home it still made the sound. We immediately returned it to them and said that the tires did not fix the problem. The next day they called and said that they found the problem and it was a plate that was rubbing against a wheel I believe. I asked if they could put the old tires back on because that was obviously not the problem and they said that the tires had already been picked up and recycled. At that point I asked for our money back for the tires because it was a misdiagnosis by them. The service representative talked to the owner and called me back and said that the best they could do was to give us a 10% credit (about $45) towards a future service. I asked if I could speak with the owner and after being on hold I was told that they already talked to him and I could not. This obviously did not sit well with me and I didn't want the credit towards a future service because at that point I was never planning to use them again. The lady also told me that they now somehow found the tires and I could have the tires back but they would not reinstall them and give me my money back for the new ones because I gave them the approval to do the work, even though the only reason I gave the approval was because I was told that would fix the problem. I did not want the old tires back because I can't install them myself and that would only save them money to not have to pay someone to recycle them for them. Frustrated, I went back and picked up the car only to find out that the sound was not fixed. We returned it again. A few days later they said that 3 people drove the car and none of them heard the sound. We went back, picked up the car and have had it for a day now with no grinding/ screeching sound. They must have done something to make the sound go away but they did not tell us what. Ultimately I feel like wisslers is very dishonest and I feel like they should have put our old tires back on and given us our $461 back because the only reason we put new tires on was because of a misdiagnosis by them. We will not be going back to wisslers and I hope that anyone who reads this will agree with me and not give them a chance to take advantage of more people. The only thing that they did that was nice was after the second time that we took the car back they gave us a free loaner car. This was a nice gesture but still does not make up for their dishonesty and charging us for something that did not need done. More
