Worst Dealership Experience Purchased 2015 Honda from Winter Haven Honda in 2017 with and the finance department talked me into purchasing an extended warranty. This was a huge Purchased 2015 Honda from Winter Haven Honda in 2017 with and the finance department talked me into purchasing an extended warranty. This was a huge mistake because when I sold the paid off vehicle two years later, I was told by the warranty company that it would need to be canceled by the dealership. Submitted odometer statement to the Finance manager and he never submitted the odometer statement to the warranty company for the cancellation. I called the store manager who did not return my call until months after I attempted to cancel the policy directly through the warranty company. The vehicle was sold in January 2020, the cancellation request was submitted in February 2020 and it is now May 2020 and the warranty policy still has not been cancelled nor have I received a refund. I would never purchase a vehicle from Winter Haven Honda again and nor should you. More

I purchased a 2018 Toyota Highlander December 6 2019 everyone very nice. Brian, whoever is in office to the right said if my tag didn't come within a week call to let him know. I called left messages, I went back spoke to man in office on the left this time was told the lady upstairs was not there yet but someone would call me back that day. Called manager voice message said he checks them multiple times a day and would return the call. By now my temp tag has expired and after calling the tag agency myself I was told to go to the dealership. I went back a 3rd time complaining and was told this time there was a problem and given another temp tag. They could have told me this with a call and to come get another temp tag until everything was settled and the plate would be sent out. No instead they repeatedly, intentionally ignored and refused to return my calls. The only assistance I received was from the salesman Santos. Honda has a good rating this is why I went in but their customer service after you sign is horrible. I've paid $400 for a tag that I couldn't get any answers about until 3 days after driving around with an expired temp tag and driving back down there. I bought a 2018 Honda Pilot from Winter Haven Honda in October. I was able to work out the details and the paperwork from out of the state. the salesman, Jeff Johnson was very responsive and good to wor October. Despite my explicit instructions and corrections to the paperwork sent to them, the car title had errors that the dealer could not or would not correct. I was told I had to get the title corrected at my expense. Other problems were that the listing for the car said it had 9,772 miles on it and that it was Certified by Honda. When we picked it up it had 11,612 miles on it and they could not explain the difference. I had to press them to issue the warranty and am not sure it was the Certified one. So overall, the dealership was decent to deal with on the sales side and I am pleased with the car. They need to pay more attention to details and get paperwork correct. Double check all paperwork and insist that it be correct before finalizing the purchase. More

Poor Honda parts and customer service and no follow up Bought a brand new Honda battery for Honda Odyssey that has a 100 month warranty , died just after the 36 months free warranty, so had to pay the diff Bought a brand new Honda battery for Honda Odyssey that has a 100 month warranty , died just after the 36 months free warranty, so had to pay the difference, which I can understand that. Get another Honda battery and it lasted only 10 months. Go back and its ‘oh I’m sorry that’s still under the 100 month warranty you’ll have to buy another battery at the pro rated price’. So in a nut shell in 4 years 3 battery’s supposed to be in an 8 year warranty and the costs have been just shy of buying 3 brand new batteries. Call corporate filed a complaint stated to call the service manager speak to them, they were sure they would do something. Right, called him and it has been a week he’s never called back. Called corporate back, they say we can file a complaint against them but nothing we can do. So Honda wants you to use them for the original parts for your Honda but do not want to stand behind their product. 10 months is ridiculous for a life of a brand new battery, battery was defective and should have been dealt with better. Especially when customer only takes their Honda to them. Poor business practices and customer service. More

As an educated consumer, I can’t really use the term “wasted”, but I can say that I delayed the process of purchasing my 2019 Honda Accord by 2 days & about 23 hours. Mike was readily available by phone (my preference), text & e-mail. He treated me like a person, never condescending & always professional, knowledgeable & straight-forward; incl. fact-checking if he wasn’t 100% sure about something (which only applied to a detail or 2). He sent pictures & was true to every word he spoke. Upon arriving & going through the purchasing process, Mike sat with me in the car & went through every feature on my Accord, pausing for my every question & allowing me to interact hands-on as we progressed. As awesome as the car is, at the end of the day, I made the deal with Mike, because of Mike – he earned, & retained my trust. I would be remiss to not mention Alejandro Botello, who handled the paperwork in the financing office; another great guy who is pleasantly personable & just simply – professional. I am beyond ecstatic with my brand-new Honda & can’t say enough about all the staff that I encountered from initial contact, to driving off the lot. I drove 2 hours each way; the latter segment being the most enjoyable! Thank you, Michael Lopez & Winter Haven Honda, for a great deal to put me behind the wheel of my truly stellar 2019 Accord! He got us a better trade price for our old car than Regal Honda and came down on the price of the 2018 EXL that had the features we preferred. We were very pleased with the outcome and love our new car. More
Poor service dept. Monday, June 24, went to WH Honda service and ask that they check my tire pressure, my tire warning light was on. I explained I had my tires rotated a few days earlier. Service advisor said no need to check pressure, suggested the computer was probably not reset. He reset the computer. The following day my right rear tire had a blow out on I4 at 75mph. The tire dealership, without any knowledge of history, said we were riding on low pressure and that caused the blowout, he could tell by the tire. Winter Haven Honda endangered our lives, it would have taken a few seconds to check my tire pressure, More
