We will note that the service department made the vehicle ready and acceptable as a sell-able vehicle by replacing dead batteries due to the vehicle sitting for a lengthy period. - Not the buyers fault. I have thought long and hard about how I would approach this review as a whole. 10 weeks, 70+ days is how long my truck was in continuous service for at Banister. While contact with the dealership in the this review as a whole. 10 weeks, 70+ days is how long my truck was in continuous service for at Banister. While contact with the dealership in the beginning of this process was about once a week. The contact then became less and less frequent as time went on. My husband and I being the ones who would reach out for status updates. After the first 30 days the first service order needed to be closed out and a new one needed to be opened. At this point we were in contact about once a week. I received a similar dealerater and left an honest and open review even though our truck had still not been returned to us. Lindsey called that afternoon telling me that due to my review they would be paid less upon completion of this job because my review was a reflection of their performance. At that point, I was in no way, blaming Banister for any of the issues that we were facing. It was a Chrysler issue and I clearly stated this in my review! But also, After my review, updates became nearly obsolete. Actually We have never ever heard from Wesley again! Who, up until this point of my first review, would be the one who we’d talk to, including after hour phone calls, Due to his hectic schedule and lack time during business hours. On November 16th Lindsay called and said the truck was finished and we were ready to pick it up. I explained that we were home now. More than 350 miles away. My husband was working away from home and we would be there as soon as we possibly could. December 2nd, we arrived to pick the truck up. Two weeks after being told everything is in order come get it. When we arrived, There is no final repair order. Wesley, is out of the office, family health emergency and He is the only one that can print this document. There is nothing in there computer system that shows the radio was even replaced. They don’t know if the radio was even replaced. I explain that I need a complete and detailed final repair order. At this point another woman behind the counter proceeds to tell me that they should charge me storage fees and how would I like that. She’s loud, she’s rude, and condescending in tone. Meanwhile there’s 2 other customers present beside myself and my husband at this time. Lindsay, spoke up and said no storage fees will be charged to them. This woman didn’t stop. Still, she repeated we will charge you storage fees. I don’t know who she is, what her name is. But after driving 9 hours I was tired and not about to deal with her or this nonsense. She was rude and kept interrupting and interfering with what should have been a smooth transaction. At this point this woman tells me that because it’s warranty work Chrysler is particular about how it does it’s invoicing. And they didn’t want it included on its invoice…wait... WHAT???? Again, I mention that there is a lawyer involved that this paperwork is absolutely needed! Lindsay, tried to de-escalate the situation which was definitely becoming worse and promised to email me what I asked for. Lindsay, hands my husband the keys we go to truck which is parked in the back of the lot under trees completely covered in pine needles and tree sap. A brand new 2024 3500 covered in just covered in pine sap all over the paint and glass. More
I have no words for what I had to go through after dropping off my 1998 Dodge Durango. But it ended on a better note than it started. dropping off my 1998 Dodge Durango. But it ended on a better note than it started. More
