Service Department handled a recall notice on my 2020 Silverado. Personnel was friendly and explained everything in detail. Vehicle was ready when promised. Unsure They got the car running (which I am much appreciated)...but the radio and interior lights no longer worked (I am checking this). Also the cost seemed HIGH...that along with a bad experience with an oil change in which they OVER filled my oil and then when asked, blamed the blue smoke on me...so not comfortable using exept when no other choice at this time. Frustrated I asked for pricing for things they suggested should be done. Was given a lump sum on a text message. Had to ask for the list and pricing, Person helping me didn't know and had to find Marty who had texted me, to write it out. He then gave me another lump sum. Poor delivery on promised services. The sales department is or was a dream to deal with back when I purchased my 2017 Tahoe in 2017. My experience with that group was the best I ever had The sales department is or was a dream to deal with back when I purchased my 2017 Tahoe in 2017. My experience with that group was the best I ever had. However, the service department experience is the complete opposite of what I experienced on the sales side. The sales manager was not present and the person left to “man the ship” was not helpful in getting my vehicle scheduled for service, which ended up in me having to pay for service (oil change) from another car dealer. I have recommended many customers to Windy and those recommendations resulted in a vehicle sale. Now my “free” oil changes are hard t schedule and seems as though the service department does not want to service vehicles that are not paying. Only I can do now is take to all social media’s to alert the public, so they can be informed. More
