Dear Stacy Weekes, Usually I respond to all reviews the day we receive them. We service hundreds of vehicles of every make and model every month. Occasionally we have a problem, or an unfavorable review, we're human and sometimes make mistakes. And when we do we take accountability and make it right. But everyone in our service department were all so shocked, confused and frankly hurt with this terrible, hateful review I had to just sit back and consider a proper response. First I do understand you did have a reoccurring problem with the turbocharger on your Chevrolet, along with other problems during your ownership. It was repaired under warranty and you were given a car to drive while repairs were done, all at no cost to you. The problem continued periodically, and we continued to repair it, again at no cost to you. This just happens sometimes, vehicles are machines and yes, sometimes you can get a bad one. But we continued to fix it, at times not only at no cost to you, but at our own expense as GM would not cover everything we felt it needed for a permanent fix and we wanted you to be happy and satisfied. The only time anyone "charged" anything for this issue was a recommendation for some additional work that the engine needed due to the turbo problem and lack of maintenance. It was a recommendation and you declined. We always treated you kindly, openly, honestly and professionally. We did free work and let you have free rental cars. We stayed in contact with you and some of our calls were never returned or acknowledged. And why the bad review for Martin, one of our service advisors?? He wasn't even involved with this whole issue?? Again, I understand, agree and support your dissatisfaction with your Chevrolet vehicle. But to take out your frustrations on my staff, who tried everything possible to help you is just unacceptable. I hope your new Focus gives you years of trouble free use. Just remember it's a machine and will need periodic maintenance. I wish you well in all aspects of you life. With Regret.... Michael McElvaney-Fixed Operations Manager
