During 60K service, they broke my oil dipstick handle I needed a replacement battery, new wiper blades and a 60K service on my Ford Escape. Service manager John K. told me their mechanic had a late start I needed a replacement battery, new wiper blades and a 60K service on my Ford Escape. Service manager John K. told me their mechanic had a late start and would not be able to finish that day. As I did not need the car I told him to keep it overnight. I picked it up the next morning and drove home. I had checked my oil before the service visit. An hour after getting the car home, I went to check the oil again only to find that I could not because the dip stick handle was broken off and what was left of the plastic handle was stuck in the dipstick tube. Clearly the service manager did not know about it until I called him. I suspect there's an issue with one of their mechanics. I think it's unconscionable to break a part during service and not fix it on the spot, or worse to send the customer away without telling them. John scheduled me to bring the Escape back. I did and after waiting a while, I was told they had the wrong dipstick and would have to order another. Bottom line was it took 3 visits to complete the 60K service. To their credit they did replace the dipstick at no charge to me. More

However, it was later addressed by providing a rental, so it hasn’t minimize my attitude about Windward Ford I’ll still keep coming. Mahalo More

Always the best After getting so much terrible service at Honolulu ford, I make the hour drive to Kailua. Even though windward ordered the wrong part originally, the diff between them and Honolulu Ford is that they follow up and keep the customer informed. Mistakes happen but windward Ford always handles them promptly and professionally. Recall service. I took my Ford Fusion in for a few recalls; The customer service was great! I got help with everything I needed, even got a rental car. Although upon receiving my vehicle back from the dealership I noticed one screw that wasn't re-installed so now my car makes a rattling noise coming from the passenger side dashboard every time I drive it, and I don't know where it goes.
