They renewed my faith in dealing with car salesmen. I think that most of us have been there done that where we felt like we were going through open heart surgery with other dealerships. You have to deal with sometimes a half dozen people and then negotiate back and forth until you are almost ready to check into the "Betty Ford Clinic". Not at Wilsonville Toyota... i was in and out in about one hour.. In fact, I was so impressed, I purchased not one, but TWO Camry Hybrids. This is all about relationships and feeling comfortable with the people that you are doing business with.. whether you are buying a car, house or furniture. It's the "NO BULL" approach that is important. They have serviced my cars usually on within my busy schedule. I have actually experienced 62.5 miles per gallon on one of my Camry's (no I was not driving down hill) and still have it documented on my console screen. It is reliable and I have yet to have any problem. When I get ready to purchase another one, I know that I will return to Wilsonville Toyota. More
We had a great experience at Wilsonville Toyota-Scion from start to finish. After seeing a car we were interested in on their website, we called ahead and spoke with Ellie Treinen. Ellie met us at the from start to finish. After seeing a car we were interested in on their website, we called ahead and spoke with Ellie Treinen. Ellie met us at the dealership and was the only person we dealt with from the test drive through the painless paperwork process after we decided to purchase the car. Ellie was friendly, professional, and courteous to work with, and we were delighted to find that there were no pressure tactics, the listed price really was the price, and there were no surprises. This dealership definitely lives up to its advertisement of "no bull", and I am happy to give it and Ellie a high recommendation - we will certainly be back the next time we are in the market for a car. Over the years, I've grown to loathe car salesmen & the whole car buying experience. From the moment we stopped at the lot to have my husband "sit" in some SUV's to see what model would be comfortable for whole car buying experience. From the moment we stopped at the lot to have my husband "sit" in some SUV's to see what model would be comfortable for a 6'5" man, we were impressed by Nate Powlison. Few salespeople are willing to open up car after car to allow the customers to just "sit" in them, especially after stating upfront that they aren't going to consider buying for at least 4 months. Nate was friendly & really interested in "us" as a couple first & as "buyers" second. He went the extra mile to check on a car that had just come in but wasn't ready for viewing. After we left, my husband and I spoke at length about how Nate had changed our minds about dealing with a car lot. We also liked the "no bull" policy. I'd been checking on line for several weeks & Wilsonville Toyota consistantly had the best prices & the largest # of "certified" used cars. I like that the VIN # & car fax were also available in the ads. That was on 5/29......I was back on 6/2 for a test drive. Needless to say I bought the car that night. Nate was accommodating in waiting until after 7:00 for me to come out. He worked up the trade-in form for our Expedition & Jake came back with a figure - sight unseen and we proceeded with the paperwork. Obviously, that took us well beyond the dealership's closing time but there was never any pressure. I signed that night & brought my husband back Sat so sign & dropoff our trade in. It was all so smooth and efficient....and we were given a full tank of gas! We came back because of Nate, the price & the "no bull" policy. We've recommended Nate to several people. The best way to put it is this: Nate is there to help you "buy" a car, not "sell" you a car & in this day & age, that's totally refreshing. More
Just wanted to add to my review of June 12.... I agree Just wanted to add to my review of June 12.... I agree they need more printers!!! We too were there for 4 long hours... BUT When I got home and we Just wanted to add to my review of June 12.... I agree they need more printers!!! We too were there for 4 long hours... BUT When I got home and went over my paperwork once more, I realized that I got an even better price than I thought...I ran the numbers through True Car (a great resource) and the price I paid was LOWER than the published certified lowest price from 2 other local dealers.... Needless to say, I was elated. More
After monkeying around with another dealer and getting fed up with the idiocrasy of the finance manager trying to rob us blind, we took a trip out to Wilsonville Toyota to look at a used vehicle we had se fed up with the idiocrasy of the finance manager trying to rob us blind, we took a trip out to Wilsonville Toyota to look at a used vehicle we had seen online. I was a bit sceptical about the introduction from the sales group because I know most dealerships build in levels of the sale to different personnel (including closers, internet managers, finance managers, sales managers, floor managers, general managers, and so on), so the reality of having to deal with just one guy seemed like a lure. I have many battle wounds from dinking around with car dealerships, so it didn't phase me as being important because I came prepared to endure battle after battle and was ready to "slay" each level of sales a dealership could put in front of me. And so the sale began.... Our sales guy (Don) wasn't your typical "suit & tie" car salesman so I initially expected that to be a lure as well. The "I'm just a regular guy like you" routine. But it wasn't. He actually offered us some real advice based on what I'm assuming was real experience. For example, he told us how darker colored paints tend to age faster because they make smaller chips and scratches look bigger and more noticable. Without being negative or offensive, he just told it to us as a word of precaution. Even though it is common sense knowledge and we tried our best to keep the emotional color factor out of our purchasing decision, we were still basing a good deal of our selection on color, so Don's practical wake up call was greatly appreciated. In short order we chose the vehicle we wanted. The price was good in relation to our budget (which we never shared or was asked for by Don), as well as market value, so the NO BULL pricing policy seemed to hold true for us. Begin the paperwork proces...sales stage II.... Like any educated buyer these days, I came prepared with a spreadsheet that calculated estimated monthly payments after entering in all the buying variables (rate, loan length, sales price, tax, dealer/doc fees, trade-in value, down payment, etc.). I entered in my values and covertly showed them to my wife. Don saw me do it, but never asked to see what I was putting in. He was absolutely confident that our numbers would match - AND THEY DID! So by now, I was starting to enjoy this sale. NO BULL was holding true, there was absolutely no pressure to make a deal, and lo and behold, Don was the only guy we had to work with! All our numbers matched up and everything was on track. He showed us all the insurance and extended warranty options and gracefully let us decline on all accounts. Even though we had to decline it three times, we understood that he was just doing his job and that he believed in the value of the services he was trying to sell us. Act III: the dreaded Finance Manager.... When we had worked through all the details of the deal and confirmed everything including our loan approval process, we braced ourselves for what I call "the idiot introduction" where we get handed off the traditional finance manager so he can hard sell us all the services we had just declined three times. Ugggggh! HOWEVER...Don did it ALL!!! He really was the ONLY person we dealt with throughout the entire course of the transaction. So, while it wasn't initally important to me since I doubted it was going to be true anyway, the fact that we only had one person to work with became the best part of our buying experience with Wilsonville Toyota! The only area I'd improve would be if they put printers on each of the sales desks to help speed up the process. Also, it would be great if we could have chosen the "quick check out" lane once we had decided we wanted the vehicle. The processing of the papers really took too long (4 hours that seemed like 10 after we drove away). While the overall experience was a good one, it just took waaaaay too long! More
I assumed I would buy from Beaverton (we've bought from them before and had a positive experience) if I decided on the Toyota and went down to Wilsonville to test drive the 4cyl and V6 of the same model b them before and had a positive experience) if I decided on the Toyota and went down to Wilsonville to test drive the 4cyl and V6 of the same model because they had both on the lot. I used the online chat on the W'ville website first. Eric responded immediately and even though the computer showed he had the 2 in stock, he walked out to the lot to make sure before we made the trip down. Turns out I liked the V6 better and the one I test drove was exactly the color and had the options I wanted. Eric is an excellent salesman (in the best sense of the word) and before I knew it...I was buying a car! The price was very fair; they rounded UP by fifty dollars on what I wanted for my trade; we got the cash back incentive AND Eric got us financing at a lower rate than expected. He was patient and pleasant and I never felt taken advantage of or used. The atmosphere at Wilsonville is generally pleasant...the building is easy to hang out in, they have great inventory, the cars look like jewels and everyone treated us well. Maybe best of all we only had to deal with ONE person...beginning to end...which really does take a lot of stress out of the process. It was exciting to see the just sold cars being washed and vaccumed for their new drivers...and we drove home with a full tank of gas and a car SO clean it scares me... I only give them a 4 for overall experience because I just can't bring myself to say that buying a car was a GREAT experience...but Wilsonville Toyota did take a lot of the sting out and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I've purchased a lot of new cars in the past 20 years, both for myself and for friends, and I'm familiar with the game car dealers always play. My wife and I had been thinking about getting a new car, an both for myself and for friends, and I'm familiar with the game car dealers always play. My wife and I had been thinking about getting a new car, and happened to stop into this dealership after a day of running errands, since we were driving by. I vaguely remember the "no bull" commercials, but it never really set in. We ended up buying a new truck from them the same day, and without a doubt, this far surpassed any car dealership experience I've ever encountered in the past. We had been considering trading in our car on a car better suited for our family, and I have been doing extensive research on trade-in values, new car prices ( for what we were wanting ), etc. At Wilsonville Toyota, there was a single person we dealt with; the price for the vehicle we were looking at was $1800 below what we were able to get elsewhere without a moment of hassle; the value on our trade-in was above what we were wanting, and they even told us how they calculate the "value" of our used car. Before running any numbers, the salesperson even let me use his computer to run all sorts of "down payment" and term scenarios, to determine exactly what worked best for our family, before agreeing to any sort of commitment, without the "back and forth" usually associated with this. They also explained every last fee that would be on our loan, and gave us the option opt-out of services we didn't want, also with zero hassle. It really seemed like they had the money they wanted to make per vehicle down to a science, so instead of attempting to "soak" every person that walks through their door based on how well they've previously soaked people that day or week, they simply apply their mathmatical formula to every car they buy and sell, and remove that variability from the whole process. I was a little skeptical at first with the "one price" setup, but it really was better than I was able to negotiate at other dealers in the area, both on the new vehicle, and on our trade-in. It really was an unbelievable experience. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone. They offer a more than fair price on their vehicles, both on trade-ins and on what they're selling. Thanks again for the great experience, guys! Keep it up! More

We were unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident where our car was rear ended and declared a 'total'. The decision to visit Wilsonville Toyota was because of its convenient proximity and knowing the where our car was rear ended and declared a 'total'. The decision to visit Wilsonville Toyota was because of its convenient proximity and knowing the wonderful reputation of Toyota cars(both our sons own Tacomas and one in particular has owned a Corona and a couple of Corollas). We've never been a Toyota owner ourselves and considered ourselves Honda believers...but change is good and we were willing to give this particular brand a try. Our customer advocate, Daniel Strajna, was super to work with from the start. He was a good listener(bent a sympathetic ear as to why we were car hunting), listened to what we were interested in and willing to show us whatever car we desired to look at and test drive, and answering questions we threw at him. He just displayed a genuine 'niceness' about him. He wasn't pushy unlike previous car dealers we've encountered in the past. You know the kind! Our first visit with Daniel we weren't quite ready to purchase. We hadn't received settlement with insurance yet then Daniel had to go out of town but not before giving us his card with the names of two other associates whom he unselfishly recommended we could deal with while he was away. The insurance settled up and we were lucky to find out that Daniel returned from his trip as well. We found a couple of cars we were interested in and he graciously pulled them from the lot to allow us to do some comparisons between the two then took the back seat and had us test drive each one while answering questions as they came up. We decided on a beautiful Corolla at the NO BULL price!(Wilsonville Toyota does not play games with pricing!!!) Daniel(and only Daniel) did the paperwork with us and we completed it in no time. Before taking the car home, Daniel got our car ready for us. He personally put on the license plates and took us on a tour of the car so we knew the function of all the knobs and gizmos and answered any questions we had. He also took us through the dealership, in particular the service department. It just gave us a good feel of the facility and the personnel as well. We've had the car for a week now and just love it! For those of you reading this review, definitely give Wilsonville Toyota a try...and ask for Daniel! He's great to work with! More
The car lot was true to their add which says they show one price and it is the lowest price available. We shopped the area and found no other dealership who would match their price. We worked with onl one price and it is the lowest price available. We shopped the area and found no other dealership who would match their price. We worked with only one person and the salesperson we worked with, Ellie Trienen, was terrific. I hate buying cars but this experience was by far the best I have ever had. We will definately recommend this dealership to others. More
