Customer Service: 5 (Originally 3, revised to 5. See below.) We corresponded with the salesman by email for several days prior to coming in, and the quality of communication was great. However, at the below.) We corresponded with the salesman by email for several days prior to coming in, and the quality of communication was great. However, at the dealership, it took quite a while to be helped and then get directed to the salesman we'd been working with. Also, an important issue, not directly related to the sale, was never followed-up on. (More on this issue at the end of this review.) Quality of Work: 5 We liked the fact that we dealt with one individual through the entire process, and he was knowledgeable in the product, the options and the paperwork. Friendliness: 5 We had a two-ear-old with us, and they made her feel welcome in a play room just for kids. Our salesman seemed down to earth and friendly, and never had to "go ask his manager for approval" on any of the requests we had during the buying process. Overall Experience: 4 The next time we buy a car, we are going to start with Wilsonville Toyota. We've already recommended them to several friends. Price: 5 The price we were offered on the car we purchased was within $150 of our target price, and we were given $1,000 more for our trade in than we expected. And we didn't have to haggle either. Very straightforward. Our one complaint about Wilsonville Toyota: When we sat down with the salesman to start the paperwork at one of the many computer terminals they have on their showroom floor, the first thing he did was enter our usual info into the computer: name, address, social security number, etc. About a minute later, a colleague interrupted us by instructing the salesman not to use the computer we were on because "it has a virus". The computer in question had not been removed from the showroom floor or marked in any way warning that it should not be used. The salesman assured us that he would provide us with information on the specific virus, or other security issue, the computer had. However, it has now been two weeks since our purchase, and that information has not been provided to us, even after several emails and calls. While Wilsonville Toyota's sales system is streamlined and enjoyable, their lack of follow-up on issues not directly related to the sales process is discouraging. FOLLOW UP: Oookay, less than 10 minutes after we posted this review, we received a call from Nick, our salesman, who provided the follow-up info we'd been waiting for. (Fortunately, it turns out the computer did not have a virus, it was a software bug.) The fact that Nick took the time in the evening to respond to us and resolve the issue we mentioned in this review was VERY impressive. We've revised the "Customer Service" rating in our review from 3 to 5. Thank you Nick! More
The overall experience of the purchase was the absolute best I have had in 30 years of car buying. Both my wife and I were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the method employed to complete the best I have had in 30 years of car buying. Both my wife and I were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the method employed to complete the sale from start to end, and the follow-up during that first few days. I will definitely be back to use Wilsonville Toyota again. More
Brad was friendly, helpful and efficient. He was referred by a friend and mechanic. We spoke to him on the phone and went to the dealership in the morning. We needed to replace our full size work truck. After watching Craigslist for several months and checking out many different trucks and dealerships via the internet, we finally thought we had found a dec watching Craigslist for several months and checking out many different trucks and dealerships via the internet, we finally thought we had found a decent used replacement truck at Wilsonville Toyota. When we called, we were transferred to Brad who told us the used Tundra was still available. I told him we would be down to test drive it later in the afternoon. BRAD IS SO LOW KEY AND CONFIDENT IN THE PRODUCT HE IS SELLING THAT HE WASN'T CONCERNED ABOUT GETTING OUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER TO CALL US BACK IF WE DIDN'T SHOW UP. In fact, we didn't show up the first day. When we called him back a day or two later he simply told us that he was glad to hear from us and would be happy to show us the Tundra whenever we could visit. We made it down to the dealership and Brad let us test drive the '06 Tundra. After listening and drawing out from us what our needs and concerns are in a work vehicle, he really encouraged us to look at the new Tundra work trucks...which we agreed were really perfect for us. Unfortunately he couldn't get any dealership with a silver 2010 Tundra work truck to trade for Wilsonville's white one. We were tempted to take the pricing info gained from our time at Wilsonville Toyota to another dealership to purchase the desired silver work truck, but we could not do that to Brad after our wonderful experience with him. After much consideration we told Brad what we wanted, even if it wasn't in the work truck line. Brad went to work, found what we wanted at another dealership, got the Tundra, and delivered it to us today! Why did we enjoy our experience with Brad at Wilsonville Toyota? We always felt that his greatest concern was finding us the right vehicle with the right accessories. He never applied any pressure during the entire transaction. After pointing us in the direction of what he felt would truly satisfy our vehicle needs, he was also eager to tell us how to get an additional $500 rebate through a line of credit! Though we are sure the Tundra will be a great truck for many years to come, our experience with Brad Ostlund will make us consider Wilsonville Toyota first for any future vehicle needs! More
As a chauffeur for my 90 year father, I appreciated the considerate service at Wilsonville Toyota. My father loves automobiles, especially the Prius, but he can be quite demanding. Scott McKown, Boyce Ma considerate service at Wilsonville Toyota. My father loves automobiles, especially the Prius, but he can be quite demanding. Scott McKown, Boyce Maclaurie and several others at Wilsonville made our experience pleasant and productive.. We ordered the most sought after Prius, which they sold us without any hassles at a very fair price ala their no-bull model of sales. They gave us a good deal on a trade-in of a pristine 2008 Prius. They searched high and low for the car in our area and tried unsuccessfully to get one from a dealership in Tacoma, when the Tacoma dealership backed out of a trade agreement. However, on their second attempt they got us just what we were looking for. We love it. Thanks again to Scott, Boyce, and Wilsonvile Toyota on their superior model for selling cars. We will definitely do business again with them. More
FIRST...Let it be known that no dealership is GREAT. Only if they gave me a Avalon for free, would I give them a GREAT rating. I will give them a VERY GOOD rating on every aspect of the sale. There was NO pr if they gave me a Avalon for free, would I give them a GREAT rating. I will give them a VERY GOOD rating on every aspect of the sale. There was NO pressure, NO salesman going to the backroom to talk with Mr.Big, and Scott was very down to earth salesman. We were told the price upfront, so there was no reason to keep beating on Scott to get him to come down. We did shop Wilsonville price through Costco discount and may have save $100., but the overall experience with Wilsonville was so good that Scott earned the sale, and Wilsonville deserved our business. I have purchased many new cars over the years, and Wilsonville has a new concept that I would hope will caught on at other dealerships. They truely treat you like a valued customer and not like you are a grade school dropout. You may not buy from them, but at the very least, go and talk with them. More
The Prius is a very sought-after model. Wilsonville didn't have the exact model and color on hand. So, first, Sam looked high and low at other dealerships, but couldn't find the color and model we want didn't have the exact model and color on hand. So, first, Sam looked high and low at other dealerships, but couldn't find the color and model we wanted. He kept us apprised of developments very regularly, double checking with us to make sure that the color of the car and the specific model were not things that we would compromise for an earlier purchase possibility. Then, when his dealership's allotment sheet came in, he noticed that the model in our color wasn't there. So, he checked around and found another dealership with our car in their allotment, and asked to have it swapped out. He gave an accurate prediction of delivery date so that we could arrange our schedule accordingly. When he realized he would be on vacation when we were to come and pick up the car, he asked a co-worker whom he trusted to take good care of clients to work with us. Scott (that co-worker) is a very pleasant young man who answered all our questions and took us through everything very carefully. He even followed up with a call to see how we liked our new car....and got us a loan with a better APR than we expected. More
From start to finish easy buying experience. The salesman was friendly, infromative, and not pushy. Provided good infromation about the car but made it easy to leave and consider my options. Scott was very knowledgeable about the 2010 Prius, explained everything very patiently. I had gone to other Toyota dealers and had found that their sales people were not as informed about the 2010 Pr explained everything very patiently. On the dealership: Wilsonville Toyota has been the only On the dealership: Wilsonville Toyota has been the only place we've taken our '92 Camry since it opened its doors. We have almost 200,000 miles on it On the dealership: Wilsonville Toyota has been the only place we've taken our '92 Camry since it opened its doors. We have almost 200,000 miles on it and want it to last until the new all electric models come out in 2012 or 2013. The staff are friendly and professional and the work has been excellent. We would definitely recommend Wilsonville Toyota. On Toyota North America: On a side note, I would respectfully request that Toyota pull out of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce because that organization has taken a stand against clean air legislation and other citizen oriented protections. The U.S. Chamber has launched a $100,000,000 campaign to kill the president's top 5 priority bills including health care reform, bank reform, helping homeowners stay in their homes, and clean air legislation. It is not okay to advertise your company as "green" and then support an organization that is acting in ways contrary to the best interests of the environment, the citizens, and therefore, your customers. Many major companies, like Apple, have taken a stand for a cleaner air and citizen oriented legislation by recently pulling out of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Please follow their example, Toyota North America. We vote with our wallets when we pick the goods and services we buy. More
