As you know, the 4.0L V6 in your vehicle does require more extensive service at 30K miles, including the spark plug replacement performed on your vehicle. We understand your view that Toyota's maintenance schedule for your vehicle is excessive, and we respect your choice not to update your review to a more factual representation. We see that the problem is clear in that we didn’t do a good enough job explaining the cost to you when you checked in your vehicle for its service. Dear Straytshooter, When we were first alerted about your situation, we were not aware of the whole story regarding your service visit. Now that I have been able to look at both repair orders I understand your frustration and why you would be unwilling to return to our shop. Honestly, I cannot blame you, as I am equally if not more upset that we did not get anything right on your first visit with us. I would like to assure you that this is not how we want our customer experiences to go and that if in the future you could see your way clear to give us another chance to earn your business, that I would personally take care of you to ensure a satisfactory experience. That being said, I would like to do something to compensate you for the inconvenience we have caused. If it would help I would gladly refund you the $184.95 for the labor you paid on the brake job, plus fill your tank with gas because you had to make a second trip.
