Instant Service I had a few questions on a couple of buttons on the dashboard of my new Subaru Forester. oil change delay I had an appointment for an oil change and I dropped the car off ten minutes before the scheduled appointment time. Just over an hour later the car h I had an appointment for an oil change and I dropped the car off ten minutes before the scheduled appointment time. Just over an hour later the car had not been moved into the shop as yet. After notifying the service manager, the car was immediately moved into the shop. and was serviced rather quickly. If you are going to over-book the service department then you need to be ready to deal with the consequences. I will give this dealership another try, but if they fail to honor appointment times, then it will be my last. More
Recall Items Had 3 recall items to be taken care of. Had to wait for the jobs to be completed as I had no other transportation. Oil change Wow....such a great 1st experience!! I can honestly say that I enjoyed taking my car in for an oil change....and waiting for it!! As I pulled in, j Wow....such a great 1st experience!! I can honestly say that I enjoyed taking my car in for an oil change....and waiting for it!! As I pulled in, j was greeted by a nice young guy who escorted me inside and introduced me to Tiffany. She was extremely professional and very nice. I told her that I had an appointment down in NW at noon and was hoping that my car would be done by 11:00. She said absolutely!! Really?? :))) As I waited, I enjoyed a delicious sandwich and coffee at the wonderful cafe, and chatted with Sam the owner. Such a darling little cafe!! To my surprise, my car was done well BEFORE my promise time!! When I went to pick it up, I had a few questions to ask Tiffany, which she took the time to answer, and never made me feel like I was wasting her time. I left Wilsonville Subaru in such a great mood, and a feee car wash....which I took advantage of right away. Lastly, I just want to say that I work for a company that service is our number one priority, so I expect it when I’m dealing with others. Tiffany, Sam, and the Wilsonville Subaru has greatly exceeded my expectations, and I can honestly say this was the best car service experience I’ve ever had (and I’ve owned 9 cars). Thank you... I will be back!! More
No "Love" at this Location Unfortunately the sugary sweet/can-do telephone customer service is not what I got when I went into the Wilsonville location for service. This was my Unfortunately the sugary sweet/can-do telephone customer service is not what I got when I went into the Wilsonville location for service. This was my second visit and so far they are 2 for 2. Saturday, after waiting 4 months I finally got some sort of lamp recall issue repaired/replaced. I called the week before to ask if they could also run a transmission diagnostic on the engine because I found a letter which authorized me to submit reimbursement for any transmission repairs I'd incurred. I thought WAIT TRANSMISSION!!! What is goin on with the 2016 Cross Trek? First a recall then TRANSMISSION issues. I thanked Janell for assuring me they could also assess my transmission so that I can drive around a new city with peace of mind. Only to bring the car in Saturday and have Jarrod/service deny the request and tell me they could do a diagnostic for $150. Jarrod even walked over to another counter to ask if there was 'time to check the transmission today'. I'm not sure if I would have said yes to paying the $150 they would have had “time” or what. Of course NO they did not have time but they'll drive it and check it. Just how diagnostic is that Subaru? I just know I have a vehicle which is not quite 3yrs old and I now have to pay out of pocket for issues Subaru has self identified. Unacceptable! I know the service department is in the business of making money, but should I be expected to pay for a Safe Reliable Subaru Manufacturing Mess? When any customer calls with a question, just set the CORRECT expectation. If the young lady didn't know if there was a charge, it’s reasonable for me to expect her to place me on hold to verify. I am escalating to Subaru America because Nora was kind enough to address my concern when I stopped her as she passed through the lobby. She escalated to a manger at that location to have him look into this and call me back…As of today crickets. Suffice it to say this is my first and last Subaru. I bought it because of it’s safety/quality track record and service excellence. I don’t want to struggle and fight about these kinds of things. Am I driving a ticking time bomb? BEWARE of any business who has ALL perfect scores. More
