He didn't try to talk us into something we didn't want. He steered us into a great car and we couldn't be happier. More

Though I didn't buy car at this location (very expensive), I had a pleasant experience with Sales Consultant Stuart Pace. Very patient, friendly and knowledgeable guy. I had three drive tests, he expensive), I had a pleasant experience with Sales Consultant Stuart Pace. Very patient, friendly and knowledgeable guy. I had three drive tests, he explained differences between Camry LE, SE and Hybrid. Was willing to work with me on the best deal/price, but couldn't compete with the best deal I got from another place. Would recommend to a friend. More
I brought my 4Runner in for it's prepaid 55,000 mile service in March of 2013. I was told by Dan Wolf, that I did not have any more prepaid coverage, which I did. I had to call the original dealership i service in March of 2013. I was told by Dan Wolf, that I did not have any more prepaid coverage, which I did. I had to call the original dealership in Nevada to square away the problem. The Nevada dealership told me that they just needed to override the expiration date, which could be done with a click of a button. I brought my vehicle back for the scheduled service, a week later, and informed them of what the Nevada dealership had told me. After that, they were magically able to service the vehicle as the maintenance plan described. Much to my surprise, when I picked up my vehicle after service, the reminder sticker that had been placed on the upper-left-hand corner of my windshield, by Toyota of Des Moines (for previous maintenance), was removed and had ripped an ugly rectangle about 4 x 2 inches out of my windshield glare-strip tint. I was told by Scott Westercamp that there was no way for him to control the type of adhesive used by Toyota of Des Moines. Reluctantly, he told me to send a picture of the damaged window tint to him and he said "I'll see what I can do." That email was sent on March 28th, 2013. It is now April 29th, 2013 and I have not heard back. Please think twice about giving this dealership your business. More
We have had many positive experiences with this dealership and they do an outstanding job. Patrick has helped us find reliable cheap cars for our teens. He is friendly and knowledgeable and not pus dealership and they do an outstanding job. Patrick has helped us find reliable cheap cars for our teens. He is friendly and knowledgeable and not pushy. And we have found that to be true whenever we have had to talk to any of their sales and service people. We recently had an issue with Toyota itself and them covering a repair on our Sienna van and Patrick brought our concerns to the attention of upper management and they made it right. We would highly recommend this dealership. More
Bought a used 2003 VW Passat, it's a great care with low mileage. Two days later, I discovered it had a headlight out, the front tires were literally splitting in two and I need a new compressor the the A/C mileage. Two days later, I discovered it had a headlight out, the front tires were literally splitting in two and I need a new compressor the the A/C. All told, I've put nearly $2,000 into this car in the first week of ownership. While I undertand the risks of buying a used car, allowing someone to pay over $7,000 for a vehicle without informing them that it isn't even street legal is deceptive. While the staff were friendly and welcoming, it's unacceptable that they would allow a car to drive off their lot with something as simple as a headlight not working. More

My husband and I had researched and test drove five different makes/models over a period of time. Narrowed our choice to the Camry 4dr Le Sedan. After a not so inviting experience in Des Moines we deci different makes/models over a period of time. Narrowed our choice to the Camry 4dr Le Sedan. After a not so inviting experience in Des Moines we decided to drive to Ames for a last effort, otherwise I was going to start over in my search. Dave Ohlson met us in the parking lot, I already had the two cars picked out to test drive(had viewed their stock over the internet)options and color choice. Dave was very personable and pleasant, no pressures and he made us feel as if he wanted our business! I would highly recommend taking the short drive to Ames and working with Dave Ohlson, it was worth about a pinch over a $1000 dollars saved between DSM and Ames. More
Our first experience with Toyota and also with a large dealership. We were made to feel comfortable, and treated with courtesy and respect. While everyone was extremely professional, by the end of the day, we felt like we were talking to friends. Incredible financing choices! My husband was particularly comfortable with Matthew Peterson in finance. (That is a huge compliment.) We have always owned Chevrolets, and this is our first Toyota purchase, but we have come away believers. (Plus, our Toyota was made in Texas! - win, win.) Comfortable ride, and engineered with detail. Nice design. The way the tailgate works sold me (the "wife") before I even got in the cab. My husband also was convinced by Jim's confidence in the way the entire sale was put together. Very personable, and exuded confidence in his ability to communicate the terms. Overall, we were treated like royalty. Thanks for making our trip to Ames (over 120 miles) worth the drive. The drive home in our new truck was even nicer! More
