I would take her car up to Ames for warrantied maintenance, oil changes, etc. and after eight years with my Chevy Traverse, I gave Toyota a try. I was most excited about seeing how Toyotas hold their value and the new safety features were a big deal with three young kids. I already knew the car, but I thought it might be a little weird getting two of the same. It wasn't. I thought about getting a Limited like my wife but found the XLE to be pretty nice as well. It was nice to have no pressure, like going to see an old friend. It's a little farther to drive, but it was worth going up to Ames to see Ryan P. More

I actually live 200 miles away from Ames, but the drive is well worth it, the have the biggest and best selection of Avalon’s I have ever seen. My current 2008 Certifiied Avalon I bought from them before was a wonderful and reliable car. My 2013 has low miles and not only a great price but they gave me a great trade in value. The sales person Ryan Smalley was knowledgeable, friendly, asked about our needs and provided the information we requested on the vehicle we were interested in. The buying process was no pressure, no games and simplified. We were in and out of the dealership with our new vehicle within a short amount of time. The girl (I don't recall her name) who did our financing paperwork also did an outstanding job of explaining it all clearly to us while streamlining the process. She was very personable and professional during the process. This has been a great experience and we can honestly say we have never experienced a more streamlined process that didn't entail long waits and spending many hours waiting and dickering over the price and paperwork until your head feels like it was going to explode.
