We are new here in Ames (though this is our second or third visit to Wilson Toyota since we own two Toyota's), I just wish the waiting area was as nice as the one at Rudy Luther Toyota in Golden Valley, MN, where I purchased and serviced vehicles at for almost 30 years. They offered cookies, bananas, and a variety of coffee selections. More

Quick but it left me with questions. I was in and out of the service center in less than 20 minutes. In that time they were supposed to have rotated the tires and changed the oil, topped I was in and out of the service center in less than 20 minutes. In that time they were supposed to have rotated the tires and changed the oil, topped off the fluids, and checked everything else. They were supposed to show me the filters but didn't. I had asked for that one thing to happen. The young service rep. seemed more interested in leaving for the day then actually answering questions. When I asked if they had done something, he said yes and then pointed at the paper and walked away. The car drove okay after leaving the dealer so I guess they did at least fill the tires with air but sometimes speed with little actual customer interaction leaves you wondering what didn't they do. questions. If all I wanted was speed then I would go to Jiffy Lube and leave with more of the same thoughts and probably pay more. I go to Wilson's because that is where I bought the car but leaving with all these questions will cause me to when I buy the next car to go someplace else. More

She was friendly , courteous, and ambitious . We talked briefly and she showed me a vehicle that fit what I was looking for (listening carefully) . She gave us a very brief pitch on why we would like this particular truck . Not aggressively ! I would have left if she would have been aggressive . She asked us our names etc and it was sincere --not canned . LIke she sincerely WANTED to know us ! Asked me if I would like a brochure on the truck ? I said yes . She went and got it and gave me her card . Told me to call or come back if I wanted to drive it etc . I said I would do that ! I have sold vehicles --I know a good salesperson when I see one--Kari is a great Salesperson ! Through the entire process she has been there and helped me . Now, I am the proud owner of a Toyota Tacoma ! I could have purchased a Tacoma in Carroll but I was struck with Kari's ambition, and sales knowledge and felt it was worth driving the extra miles to purchase from Wilson Toyota ! People make the difference--not the product !~ Character shines through on everyone and is easily noticed ! Everyone I met at the dealership was helpful . More
