Hello Brady, Thank you for taking the time to reach out. Kevin Ahlm is our Service and Parts Director who has 30 plus years of experience here, which is much more than my experience in Service and Parts, and why we have him handle these types of issues. After you were unhappy with speaking with one of our Service Writers and told them you wanted to speak with a Manager, I was told Kevin spoke with you several times and you were aware that we were doing all we could do to help per Toyota's recommendations which you understood and were not frustrated with our Service team. I was simply brought up to speed at the tail-end of your visit when I was told you were not happy with the current loaner vehicle we had been providing for you. Even though we did not have to, I personally picked out one of our very nice pre-owned SUVs to have our Service Writer Casey loan you, going above and beyond to make sure your level of treatment was high Brady. While yes, as I am the very new General Manager here, I only knew bits and pieces of what happened. You did catch us at an Ownership transition where this was my second or third day as a General Manager so you are aware. As I was immersed in multiple new job responsibilities when the Sales Rep came in to me and I wasn't fully up to speed with the intricate details of your situation, I felt I could not add to the conversation or be any more of a help than what Kevin had already told you. So I did the best I could at the time by getting you the nicer loaner car to make sure you were well taken care of Brady. This is what I had intended our Sales Rep to communicate to you, so I am sorry if he did not explain it in this way. I understand there are situations where a customer wants to speak with an Owner. We do our best to do so when both time and job responsibilities allow. I hope this explanation helps you understand a little better what we were trying to communicate to you Brady. So you are aware, after hearing from the Sales Rep that you were still unhappy when you left, I got up to speed with the full details from Kevin as soon as I could. I then told multiple employees that when you dropped off your loaner car in the coming days, to let me know as I wanted to speak with you in person. I understand that you just wanted to be heard even more Brady. As I am new to this job and still learning, I apologize that I didn't make you feel heard which was not my intention. I would be happy to speak with you in person as planned if you have to come back in for Service or on the phone if you want me to call you.
