Buyer beware. I did my homework , or thought I did, many years ago researching many car reviews before I purchased a new 2011 Nissan Murano AWD SL from Hummels. I I did my homework , or thought I did, many years ago researching many car reviews before I purchased a new 2011 Nissan Murano AWD SL from Hummels. I was very happy with my purchase, knowing this car would be very dependable and take me far into 200K miles with required maintenance. I am a stickler for regular maintenance and took very good care of my SUV. I drove it 11 years and 122K miles before it started to exhibit poor gear engagement, after stopping, pressing down on the gas, the car wouldn't move, then would surge forward. Diagnostic tests rarely reveal the cause, leaving me without a solution. This went on for a year, no one knew what the problems was. Until I drove it to CO last summer, car trouble landed me at Midas and was asked by a mechanic if I was experiencing any problems such as no acceleration. YES! for years and no one can tell me why. I then learned about ALL the problems with the CVT transmissions in the Nissan. Goggle it, quite interesting. My Nissan barely made it up the hills of CO. As soon as I got home, I called Hummels. It would be 5-6K, on low end of for a "new" transmission, AND Nissan will only warranty it for a year. You do the math! AND what parts are used? Why another CVT Nissan transmission, of course! Long story short, I was disappointed and sad to have to get rid of a car I loved, because the truth is, Nissan's do not last. I went to a different dealership this time, and confident my new SUV will last 200K. I will definitely tell others that are looking at Nissan, think twice. This is not a car for the long haul. More

After purchasing our 2021 Murano, our fourth vehicle from Hummel’s, we find out it COASTS downhill in cruise control. No different than shifting into neutral. 60mph at top of the hill. 75 at the bottom. Tech Hummel’s, we find out it COASTS downhill in cruise control. No different than shifting into neutral. 60mph at top of the hill. 75 at the bottom. Tech advisors and service dept said that’s “normal” on the new model. Normal for me will be trading soon for anything but a Nissan unless they come up with a solution soon. More

Hands down offended by how we were treated and what was overheard about other customers during their test drive. The salesman we worked with made a comment, "Money is clearly no object," and didn't ask if overheard about other customers during their test drive. Then he produced an offer showing as little as $8500 down and a payment of $589 when the national ad said the same vehicle should have been $456-472/month with $4700 down with 10,000 miles. Granted they quoted 12k/yr, but that should not cost 38% more! More
