Dealership fine, GM not so good. Waited too long to get part from GM (3 Months). Part was shipped 3 times to Dealership but only arrived on the third shipment. Customer service at GM Waited too long to get part from GM (3 Months). Part was shipped 3 times to Dealership but only arrived on the third shipment. Customer service at GM was called three times. Some type of compensation was noted but nothing decided. Was told it would be discussed at GM and I would be contacted, but nothing to date. More

Issues So far everything has been handled well. I had that issue with the brake calipers being locked up. I found that out at the alignment shop where the ca So far everything has been handled well. I had that issue with the brake calipers being locked up. I found that out at the alignment shop where the car wouldnt start after the alignment attempt. The battery is bad too. Im not real happy about that but I guess its on me with the As Is deal. Other than that, everything is great. Big thanks to Mike and Chuck. More

Just so-so at best I've had numerous problems from an issue with a truck that still isn't fixed after more than 3 visits, and had one of the most disappointing car purch I've had numerous problems from an issue with a truck that still isn't fixed after more than 3 visits, and had one of the most disappointing car purchases of my life there. Wanted certain tech features (GPS, hand-free phone use) in a new Sonic hatchback in 2014, and was told by sales person that their ChevyLink technoology would work with my phone to provide all that. Turns out that only limited phone models actually link and neither of my last 2 phones work with all features. At time of taking posession of the vehicle, I was told that it was probably just a software glitch that they would fix when I brought the vehicle back in a week for the protective coating package I opted for. Well, after hours and hours, they had to admit that my phone would not work for all the features, but refused to do anything more about the problem. As I had driven that car for a week already, (trusting that the connectivity would be fixed), I was stuck with the vehicle. Have been unhappy with it for almost 5 years now. Still haven't found a phone that works completely with the darn thing, or at least none that I want to shell money out for when I have a prefectly good phone that I like. They did give me a $100 credit at their Service department to offset the cost of a new phone. Not very helpful. Service Department was also disappointing. The coating they were supposed to put on my 1 week old car left a bumpy surface as though the car had been peppered with sand all over! I was told that that's how the car had come to them. Well, for touting a smooth finish from their coating, I was in shock when the opposite was the result and I had to argue with them to get them to redo it! Also, regarding the truck we've had for years, the Service Engine light came on. I brought it in and was told it was an O2 sensor. But 3 miles after driving it home, the light came on again. So, another appointment and was told that the part they had installed was faulty and replaced again. Picked it up and this time it was 6 miles later that the Check light came on again. Another appointment and this time was told it was something behind or near the O2 sensor. But was assured that the O2 sensor had needed to be replaced and that I had not wasted money on fixing the wrong problem. Higher bill than when the O2 sensor was the problem. Got the truck home the entire 12 miles without incidence... and then the Check light came on the next time we started it. Another appointment to check this out again and they told me that they found no record of the light coming on in their diagnostic review. Well, the light has come on from time to time since then and has been staying on permanently for the last few months. We are not taking it back to them. We also said that we would be intersted in an appraisal for the Sonic the last time it was there (trim gasket had come loose) and were given a BlueBook report. I could have done that myself, except for the fact that when I went on BB, it gave me the "private sale" value, which was several thousand higher than their offer. The explanation was that they were giving me the dealer value. Ok, I guess. At least the salesman didn't pressure me to try and buy a new car, is about the best I can say. More
