Sold me a truck that they didn't own. This dealership sold me a used vehicle and offered to transfer the tag from my previous vehicle. After a few weeks and no transfer, I began calling an This dealership sold me a used vehicle and offered to transfer the tag from my previous vehicle. After a few weeks and no transfer, I began calling and was told that they did not own that vehicle sold to me (Their story --> they took it in trade and someone else is holding a lien on it). It has now been nearly 7 weeks and they will still tell me nothing about who owns the vehicle or why I don't have title to it. If in fact they don't own the title, then the sale constitutes fraud. If they do have title then they are breaking their promise to transfer the title to me. Their office manager (Cindy Ripley) has told me that this is standard business as they take vehicles-in-trade for 2/3 of their sales and then have to pay of liens on those vehicles – sometimes after they resell them. Williams Buick The way it SHOULD be I have purchasd several Buicks from Williams(Folger) Buick in Charlotte......both new and used. I very much appreciate the quality service and the positive attitude of the service staff. I also appreciate being called by name from the moment you have dealings with them. They seem to actually care about the vehicle and the quality of service delivered. My ONLY negative comment relates to the loaner cars given when you have extended service work performed and that comment is: When a person leaves a car to be serviced by Williams, one expects to drive a loaner that is of a quality as good or better than the car you leave for service. (Afterall, that is probably the single BEST time to learn the advantages of a new Buick!) More

Great Service, Courtesy Car Included, Bill Fixed Promptly My car needed some engine fixing and they did not have the parts needed to fix it at the dealership, so they told me they would keep my car overnight. My car needed some engine fixing and they did not have the parts needed to fix it at the dealership, so they told me they would keep my car overnight. Immediately, I was provided with a courtesy car. The mechanic and his representative quickly explained and showed me the problems and were quick to answer any questions. The next day when I picked up my car, they fixed my bill error fast. More
Beyond displeased with my service. I don't ever leave reviews, but if I can save someone time and money, then I am all for it. Taken advantage of as a first time car buyer is an underst I don't ever leave reviews, but if I can save someone time and money, then I am all for it. Taken advantage of as a first time car buyer is an understatement. I went in to check out a car that I found on Auto Trader. I am from out of state (2 1/2 hours away to be exact). They made me feel like they were giving me a fantastic trade-in deal and even offered (aka VERY PUSHY) to let me take the new car home that day. They failed to tell about the water stains on the headliner of the vehicle. I took it upon myself to go through the glove compartment and find the previous owner's info and contacted him. After he volunteered extensive amounts of information; dealership where it was regularly serviced, reassured me that there wasn't a leaky sunroof it was bc it was left open during a car washing, and even telling me about a broken air conditioning vent etc. I knew that I truly had a great vehicle on my hands. The mileage and the previous owner were what sold me the car. As a first time car buyer, I failed to notice that THE DEALERSHIP added so many extra fee's on the bill of sale that I thought I would throw up when I read over them (Administrative Fee's of $649 plus DataDots for and extra $400) I wouldn't have gone through with it. The car dealer that sold me my car harassed me at work about the Title to my old car for two weeks. TO TOP IT ALL OFF due to their miscommunication and slackness, I have been riding around on a dead tag FOR THREE WEEKS because of their failure to comply with my state's DMV in a timely fashion. I was told to provide my old car's paid tax receipt, then my county tax assessor told me the dealership needed the NEW car's paid tax receipt. NOT the Title Department of the Dealership. It was the new car's tax receipt. Do you think they cared? Absolutely not. They FAILED to return the majority of my phone calls. The lady that works in Title department only works at the Charlotte office TWO DAYS A WEEK? The times that I did call on the days that she worked, I wasn't able to reach her. I had to call the regular "switchboard" line to catch her. Absolute madness. More
