Best and easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had Last Saturday I went to meet with Ed Chwal regarding the end of my 3-year lease in April on my Mazda CX-5. Ed had contacted me early in 2019 and I was Last Saturday I went to meet with Ed Chwal regarding the end of my 3-year lease in April on my Mazda CX-5. Ed had contacted me early in 2019 and I was initially slow to respond then I made a couple of appointments to meet with him but due to other obligations I had to cancel. He stayed in touch but never pushed me to come in. When I got in last week, I told him that I probably wanted to lease again, but a CX-3 instead of the 5. He immediately found me the perfect car - package and color I wanted and we took a test drive. The test drive was very pleasant. As with another review I just read, Ed was personable, funny and relaxed. He answered questions about the car but there was never a tense moment of him pressuring me to go with the bigger model or even to buy the one we were in. When we got back I was certain it was the car for me. He quickly got the numbers together and we agreed on a lease price. I am not an impatient person but because I am a quick decision maker I was eager to get on with my day. Ed made the process go as quickly as he could. He checked in with me to tell me where I was in the financing process/line, but he never hovered over me. He was efficient, helpful and friendly. This is my 5th Mazda. I have purchased two and leased three over the last 30 years. This was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had in a car dealership. Easy and as enjoyable as purchasing or leasing a car can be. I will recommend Ed to anyone needing a car. And as I have for the last 30 years I will be telling people how much I love my Mazda! Zoom-zoom!! More

New car purchase I came to Wilkins to purchase the CX-5. I had been looking into this car for some time and requested the price quote online. Not only did I receive it I came to Wilkins to purchase the CX-5. I had been looking into this car for some time and requested the price quote online. Not only did I receive it very quickly, but I wasn’t bombarded with phone calls immediately (as I was with some of the other dealerships I was working with). Ed took me for a test drive and was very informative and friendly. I never felt any pressure to make an immediate decision. He was knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. After deciding to purchase, he thoroughly explained the different options and costs and helped with the trade in process. I’ve purchased cars before and have never had as good an experience as I did with Ed. It was very apparent that his knowledge of the industry is of the highest quality. To top it off, his personality made the process painless and even a little fun! More

Well drove to Elmhurst about 2 hours away to see a couple Mazda 3's and being my first Mazda I was impressed from the time we pulled up to Wilkin's an Well drove to Elmhurst about 2 hours away to see a couple Mazda 3's and being my first Mazda I was impressed from the time we pulled up to Wilkin's and in the door to ask for Taylor Crawford. Told him a couple ones I found online and he was right on to it finding them and getting the keys for a test drive. Very good person to have as a Salesman, explained everything very well and I left in a nice used Mazda 3 at a real good price. The finance department was great and we were only there for about 2 and half hours. Just wish the dealership was a little close so I could drop in sometime for maybe a oil change and a good cup of that coffee they had. But who knows we go to Chicago on occasion so maybe we will do that sometime. More

He walked me through every step and made me feel extremely confident about my purchase. He not only showed me how to use each and every aspect of the interior, but also showed me how to maintain the exterior. Ed's knowledge of the vehicle and the process were astounding. I have never felt better about buying anything. He also went out of his way to secure an accessory that I really wanted. I was going to head to another dealership and go with another brand, but I chose Mazda because Ed showed me and convinced me that I was making the right decision with Mazda. More

We went on a test drive, where he explained everything and showed me some really cool new safety features my previous car didn’t have. I told him I wouldn’t be able to buy that day since I wanted my husband to see the car as well. He didn’t pressure me. He wasn’t rude. He was genuinely kind and said to just let him know when I wanted to come back. It was really refreshing actually. I returned a few days later and again Ken was right there and as helpful and kind as could be. The sales manager, also Ken, was equally helpful and just as kind and personable. It was late and they got us out as quickly as possible, definitely not rushing us we were the ones who were tired and hungry. I came back the following day to pick up my car and it was beautifully cleaned inside and out. Ken gave me a bumper to bumper tour and explained even more of the features. It was easily the best car buying experience I’ve had. I never felt pressured, they were straightforward and honest. I will definitely be going back to Wilkins Mazda and seeing Ken when this lease is up. More
