Made an appointment at Hyundai for a recall "Important Theft Prevention" on 7/19..1st available appointment was 8/25 at 9:30 am. Upon arrival, I was told my car would be ready in 45 minutes... waited over Theft Prevention" on 7/19..1st available appointment was 8/25 at 9:30 am. Upon arrival, I was told my car would be ready in 45 minutes... waited over an hour for a Service Advisor to walk with me out to my Hyundai Santa Fe to then place a generic/knock off of the "CLUB" on my steering wheel and show me how to use/apply their anti- theft steering wheel lock. The Service Advisor gave me the keys to the anti theft prevention mechanism and told me to give it a try, to unlock it. I could not get either of the keys to go into the lock. The Service Advisor then got into my vehicle and he also was unable to get the key into the lock. Finally, my husband got into our vehicle and got the key into the lock but could not turn the key to unlock it, he played with it a bit and finally got the key to turn/unlock the mechanism. That being said, I am very apprehensive about using the anti theft protection (Steering Wheel Lock) provided by Hyundai. Hyundai's Customer Service/Satisfaction is truly disappointing. The previous time I visited Hyundai was for an oil change, once again having made an appointment I waited 2.5 hours for my oil change, really? What good is an appointment? Always bought American made cars prior to the purchase of this Hyundai Santa Fe, once and done! More

I won't ever consider taking my Miata anywhere else (I already made that mistake after Wilkins moved from VP and I moved to Sch'g from Wheaton). The trip to Wilkins and the outstanding service experience is SO worth the extra time and distance. Also, any other staff I came into contact with was also friendly and courteous - and even remarked how great my lil Miata was - talk about welcoming! Bravo to all - and to management for instilling and reinforcing the importance of a positive full-circle customer experience. Looking forward to the next time! MM More
