The Service Team is TERRIBLE with a CAPITAL "T". We have had a good experience with Sales (both Wilkins Mazda and Hyundai). We came to Wilkins Hyundai because Wilkins Mazda Sales and Service was amazing however we have ONLY HAD bad / terrible experience with HYUNDAI Service. Your service team needs to understand how Servicing works and how to talk to customers. This manager Andrew had the audacity to talk down to me after not responding to me for 3+ FREAKING days. He made it look like its our fault and calls up late and then talks condescendingly. A terrible excuse for a service center and service personnel. We had to talk to multiple people and speak to Brian from the Management team until Andrew decided to call us back. This service guy needs a few lessons for etiquette and courtesy as well as HOW TO "NOT" TALK condescendingly to customers. He asked me if I wanted it "FREE" - when all I asked was what I was entitled to with my warranty (the car is not even a year old) - they gave me sub-standard tires in the first place. I will definitely not be bringing my business back to Wilkins HYUNDAI and definitely will escalate this with the HYUNDAI motor company. This service team has been everything terrible and I am never going back even though I have been a decade long customer with WILKINS. More

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY A CAR HERE! !!!!!!!!!!!! They will royalty screw you over. I bought a new 2020 car from them and it has been nothing but problems that they are refusing to addres !!!!!!!!!!!! They will royalty screw you over. The car sounds like a jack hammer and will suddenly die in traffic while I am driving it. I have brought the car in to be looked at twice and they keep telling me it is fine. Now I'm no mechanic, but any moderately sane person could figure out something is wrong with the car by listening to it. Both times I brought the car in they refused to give me a loaner. The first time I got my own rental that I was told I would be reimbursed for and never was. The most recent time they suggested for me to bring the car in, they once again said they couldn't supply me with a loaner, even though I am having to bring my car in again because they did not address the problem on my previous visit. The service department has handled the whole thing horribly. They do not have the slightest clue how to implement any sort of service recovery. I put 16,000 dollars down on the car in good faith, which was a big mistake on my part, but you live and learn. I am so disappointed in how they run their business. They got their money so my needs as a customer are no longer important. Please do not let this happen to you. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WILKINS HYUNDAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my second and final review because I care about the safety of the public unlike Wilkins Hyundai of Elmhurst. I had repeatedly taken my vehicle to them informing them that something was definitely wrong with my engine. My car had even shut off in traffic twice, just completely died mid commute. Mind you, it is a 2020 vehicle and it was 2021. My concerns were ignored at ever attempt at resolution. I decided to take my car to a different dealership. I went with Hyundai of Lincolnwood. TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. They were reassuring and thorough. I explained what I had been through with Wilkins of Elmhurst and they wanted to make it right. They ended up diagnosing that I needed an engine replacement due to a recall that could have resulted in my car lighting on fire. Wilkins Hyundai of Elmhurst didn't have the time or the decency to deal with my legitimate concerns. Please don't give these careless and greedy people your money. They are con artists and they will screw you over any chance they get. They ruined my faith in humanity and my experience of buying my first new car, something that was well earned. I worked my xxx off for it and it was nothing but a disaster because of their negligence. More
