I feel that the primary goal was customer satisfaction(NOT JUST TO CREATE A SALE) but focusing on building toward creating an atmosphere for return customers. I will recommend KP to my family and friends. I purchased my first Hyundai vehicle. Base on this experience I will consider Hyundai vehicles in the future. My first choice for future Hyundai vehicle purchase wil be WILKINS HYUNDAI. I also had a very pleasant experience with the Sales Manager (Marty) and the Finance Manager(Domonick). This was indeed my first pleasant experience with a Finance Manager. The entire staff that I encountered on the telephone and in person created a family type atmosphere. I had talked with Jeff several times before my visit. This was the reason I went to Wilkins due to the way Jeff helped me over the phone. When we went in Jeff treated us very very good. Aweful experience. Dealer included incentives to lower the price. After being assured there were no surprises awaiting me, I went in to a leave deopsit. I just bought a used Hyundai from a very nice dealer down the street. As I was driving today, the engine light came on and the car almost died. I quickly headed back home because there is a service station the street. As I was driving today, the engine light came on and the car almost died. I quickly headed back home because there is a service station right around the corner from my house. Unfortunately, they don't work on Hyundai's. Luckily, there was a dealer down the street on the other side of town, and luckily I made it there. I spoke to Chris Caccitolo in the service dept. who was nice enough to let me use their phone and told me the charge would be $125.00 to check it out. I told him I was broke, but would be paid in 2 days if they could wait. Well, they told me what was wrong with the car and let me drive away at NO COST. He knew I was broke, and I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your compassion in this situation. I really appreciate it and will bring this car to Wilkins Hyundai for any repairs the original dealer cannot provide and no one else. HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you. This is what Christmas is really about. When Howard had the dealership I was very happy. I contacted this dealership on a 2009 Hyundai Elantra SE with premium package, which is very hard to find. Harry left me a message saying that they had one in stock, "unfortunately" only in Purple Rain, the color I wanted. Harry and I spoke on the phone, and he assured me that they did have this one particular car available. I came in, and after a few minutes of waiting was "helped" by Harry. First, Harry told me, "Well, you know that car was a GLS." I responded with no, it was an SE, which we confirmed on the phone, and I still had the voicemail saved on my phone to prove he said 2009 Hyundai Elantra SE with premium package. After pausing for a moment, he said, "Oh, we sold that one." Yeah right - so many people go car shopping in -30 degree weather, when your showroom was EMPTY of customers. He tried to sell me a silver one they had (supposedly), but I turned around and left immediately. More
