I apologize to the readers that this is a very long review, but I encourage you to read it thoroughly, as this is not the first time, I have had terrible service at this location. We had our car towed review, but I encourage you to read it thoroughly, as this is not the first time, I have had terrible service at this location. We had our car towed to this facility on a Sunday night because it was the only place close to our house that had a service department. I reached out first thing Monday morning and told the service department that I was pretty certain it was an alternator and possibly the battery. They ended up confirming my thoughts but also stated it needed a water pump and a drive belt. They charged a $190 diagnostic fee, which was slightly higher than I expected, but the total cost for the recommended services was almost double the price at another service provider. On one of the repairs needed, they charged double for labor, as one repair resulted in the part needing to be removed for the other repair. As a result, we sought repair elsewhere. I informed the service advisor, Daniel Szupica, that a tow truck would be there that day. I asked if I could (needed to pay) over the phone, or we could come in after work (around 4) to pay. Daniel said it was no rush and we could take care of it when we came in. An hour later, I received a phone call from the tow truck service indicating that Toyota would not release my car to them, as payment had not been received. Keep in mind, I made it perfectly clear to Daniel that the tow truck was on the way. I called Daniel again and asked why I was not told that they would not release the car without payment and he tried to blame me for saying that we would come in and pay for it in person. I completely understand the policy and a service advisor should have made us aware of it. I then asked if I could pay for it over the phone and he said they would not take a phone payment, but he would have financial services send me a link via email to pay online. One would think that a multimillion-dollar company, and with modern technology, they would be able to take an over the phone payment. This whole email payment process took an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Meanwhile, a tow truck driver was sitting there, waste of his time and additional money for us. The tow truck driver also reported that the service personnel were rude to him and told him that the vehicle was "back there somewhere" and just pointed him in that direction. We, and other family members, have bought vehicles from this dealership over the years, and even after I had a terrible service experience over 15 years ago with this service department on a recall repair, I thought I would give the service department another shot. We, and anyone we know, will never use this dealership again for anything. More
Drove an extra 20 miles from our nearest Toyota dealership and it’s worth the extra time due the caliber of employees at Wilde. Had a 9:00 AM appointment for service and arrived 10 minutes early. I sat outside in front of the garage door for 15 minutes not realizing since both service bays had one car just inside the door. After going inside to see what the holdup was, I discovered that there were 2 open spots in front of each of these cars. Finally, a car was moved, and I was able to enter the service bay. Waited or a service writer for another 20 minutes while other vehicles came in, met with a service writer and had their cars moved into the que area with cars driving around me. I finally had to ask for a service writer to help me. It's now 9:30 AM. After an hour and a half, I went to the service writers' (who was talking to a fellow employee) to inquired as to what the diagnosis was. The two of them promptly walked away to show the service manager something funny on their phone. At that point I walked into the middle of the group (now totaling 4 people) and told the service writer I wanted my car back immediately and the service manager of my experience. I've had all service done on my 2013 Avalon by Wilde Toyota and always received and gave 5 stars. No more. More
Had an appt. today at9:30 for oil & tire rotation, got there at 9:20, had to wait for someone to help me for 22 min. I bought two cars from them . I was there for oil change.No one has a decency to tell we are not taking cars for the day .I get out waiting there then asked one of the service guys I was there for oil change.No one has a decency to tell we are not taking cars for the day .I get out waiting there then asked one of the service guys that I am there for oil change then he say I see what can I do then there’s a gentleman came he said sorry we are not taking any vehicles for today but I was there 1.45p.m they close at 3p.m.There should be sign or some one to tell we are done for today .I never had this kind of experience before.I am very disappointed More
