Even with the positive reviews, I was still skeptical. We are talking about the car business after all. However, I can honestly say from the moment I contacted Jamie, until long after the deal was done, Jamie impressed me with his professionalism, integrity and follow-up. Buying a car doesn't need to be a stressful experience, and Jamie did everything he could to make sure that the experience was as easy as possible for me. A few specific examples: Jamie and I completed most of our dealings virtually by phone and email so that when I arrived in West Allis from out of town, the only things left to do were check out my new vehicle, get my trade-in appraised and take care of paperwork. When I met Jamie, one of the first things he did was give me the "bad news" that my new vehicle had a scratch in the driver's side door glass that would mean the window would need to be replaced. Not to worry, he said. I could get the window replaced somewhere convenient to my home, and Wilde would pay for it. I kept expecting for something to go wrong, but Jamie was right: it was easy for me to arrange for the repair, and Jamie made sure personally to follow up with the glass company to make sure they had the correct information to take care of the repair and bill Wilde. Jamie took ownership of this task, even though he was due to be on vacation the entire next week. This is just one example of the many ways that Jamie demonstrated old fashioned customer service. Fast forward to after he got back from vacation. He followed up with me to make sure everything went well with the glass repair, and asked if there was anything else he could do. Most salespeople, once the deal is done, would be on to the next customer, but Jamie showed that he cared long after the deal was done. Our family had purchased vehicles from Wilde Toyota before so we knew they would take good care of us. We were looking for a used car and had a strict budget. Our salesman, Matthew Husting, listened to what we said and instantly picked out the most important thing, we needed a safe, reliable car for our daughter to drive. Our choices were limited because of our strict budget but he did it and not a penny over! A 2002 Toyota Avalon had just come in as a trade and Matthew set it aside for us to look at. It had high miles but had been well maintained. It needed a little work but Matthew made sure it was in perfect working order before we drove it off the lot. Between Matthew and the dealership we felt like they weren't just making a sale they really cared about our daughter. She has been driving her very own car for almost two months now. She loves that the heater and air conditioner work. She loves that she can listen to her iPod through the awesome stereo, she loves that it is hers...mostly though, she loves knowing that she won't have to call Dad to come get her when she's stuck on the side of the road. He sold me a 2003 Toyota Corolla which was my very first car that I had over 10 years. It was time for an upgrade so this time I bought a 2013 corolla S and love it! Brad always does such a great job and is very knowledgeable! The service is great and that is why we keep coming back. I love my corolla and even though it is one year old it looks brand new!! Great Deal! We were looking for a small suv to replace our Chevy HHR. I had bought the Chevy at Wilde several years ago, and had a great experience then so I figu We were looking for a small suv to replace our Chevy HHR. I had bought the Chevy at Wilde several years ago, and had a great experience then so I figured we'd try again. The quality of their used car selection is far and beyond better than what you'll find at most lots. They had several options that met our criteria and our budget. Tommy was ready with the keys for test drives on all the cars we even considered, and very knowledgable about the current inventory. When we weren't finding the right car after a few spins, he offered to bring out a Nissan Murano that had JUST been put on the website (no for sale sign yet). He mentioned that it was a little more than our budget, but it had a lot to offer. I was not mislead. The car was a top model, all options, bells, whistles, reliable, AWD SUV that was exactly what we were looking for. Tommy was very understanding when we said we wanted some time to consider the car, as it was over our original budget, and even let us take the car overnight for an extended test drive. Well the test drive brought up some concerns, as the radio shorted out for no apparent reason and one of the tire sensors failed. When we discussed that we loved the car, but wouldn't want a car without a radio, Wilde Toyota stood behind their vehicle and said they'd reserve the car while they fixed it. Tommy also took our concerns about how dirty the car was to heart and had it not only cleaned, but the leather interior detailed, and had it washed/buffed to help cover some of the dings/scratches. Our research bolstered our spirits as the car was listed at well below suggested retail/bluebook because of the dings/dents and wear to the leather interior. This was such a nice car that we would otherwise not even been able to consider! We returned a few days later after they had installed a new radio and cleaned it. I couldn't be happier! This car was exactly what we were looking for, and I got it at a great price. They even bought back my HHR at a great trade in price (another lot we looked at wouldn't even take it as a trade in!) I was happy with my first experience with Wilde, but I know for sure when I need a car, I'll be returning to Wilde FIRST! More
