We were in the market for a smaller SUV, AWD or 4WD, and had test driven Rav4, Escape, CRV, Equinox. Spoke to various family members who suggested we check out Subaru before we do anything. The Forester was definitely the best ride and handling of the other contenders, and convinced the AWD was the way to go. Also pleasantly surprised by the price and fuel economy (improved from the 2013 model). Interior seemed a little better quality too. I've loved driving this vehicle, put on almost 700mi in the week I've had it! Mike Frank and staff were a pleasure to work with, efficient, fair and followed up to be sure we were happy.
