My experience at Wilde Honda was second to none. Everybody conducted themselves in a professional, manner and gave me the "royal" treatment. I went into this experience a little hesistant as to what vehicle I felt comfortable with. Wilde rep Tom Shannon (No Relation) was my guiding light during this experience. His knowledge and insight made my decision that much easier. For example, my wife and I recently had a baby and desired something with a lot more space. It was easy to go and find a minivan that I know my wife would hate, but function all the same. Instead Tom introduced me to the family of "Pilots." They have the same amount of space that any minivan could and carry a much "cooler-non-soccer-mom" feel to them. Needless to say, my wife loved her new pilot. I could have come home with a minivan that we tolerated as avehicle. Now we have somehthing we both love to drive. Anne was my rep in the finance dept. She broke everything down dollar for dollar with the utmost clarity. By the time I was done, I felt like we had been friends for years. Very personable and kind-hearted. Her professionalism made her that much more trustworthy. In this day in age, it's to easy to be "bambozelled" by all the small print and hidden costs. Anne put everything on the table, crystal clear. Having bought nearly seven vehicles from Wilde, I felt it necessary to give credit where credit is due. See you soon. Thanks Wilde. More
I had a hard time finding the right car after my other, older car started making noises. I was walking to work everyday and needed a new one fast. I was surprised the very aggressive nature of the sales manager at Wilde Honda in Waukesha - Kirk was his first name and he didn't stay around long enough to catch his last name. Clearly, Wilde Honda uses multiple sales tactics and I clearly felt attacked by the sales manager while attempting to negotiate a deal. The first tactic is the sales person is polite and considerate...the second is the sales manager who then comes in who is simply attempting to drive the largest profit he can achieve and does it in a very rude, obnoxious, condescending and very aggressive manner. My 80 year old mother was nearly in tears when she simply asked him if he could negotiate the price on the used car she was interested in. He jumped out of his seat, grabbed some paper work and claim to show us the wholesale price he paid for the car on a photocopied sheet of paper. He then started quoting a Kelly Blue Book price of $26,000 on a vehicle they had on the lot for and "yelled" that he was selling the car at bottom dollar as the LOSS LEADER on the lot to bring buyers to then up sale on other cars with more features. The sales manager was gruff, self-centered, rude and the abruptly left saying he had to get to his desk without any consideration for my 80 year old mother -- the sales person on the floor had to apologize for the behavior and I wish I could have recorded the interaction and post it so his managers and bosses could see the person wave his hands, jump out of the chair, lean over the desk and use cliche sales terms regarding how in his opinion we knew little about car prices in the area. My 17 year old daughter even commented that the sales manager was "mean", "rude" and "obnoxious" and felt bad for his wife if this guy was married. For a dealership with such high ratings I was simply put off by the typical used car slimy sales approach of the sales manager. The sales person on the floor had to apologize for the aggressive and rude behavior and I really couldn't believe the lack respect this sales manager had for his employee. It was clear his lack of respect was not only for his employee but also for the customer. I have never been in a dealership where the sales manager was "annoyed" to attempt to sell a car. More
I went in to see a CRV from an online ad. Tom came along and was very friendly and without any pressure. When I requested a test drive of the CRV and stated my budget, Tom came back with 4 sets of keys, off and was very friendly and without any pressure. We walked away that evening without a purchase partly due to our low budget and some good advice. To summarize, with Tom's help we purchased a a very nice vehicle above our budget, but the offer was so good, we had to had to take it. I am very pleased with the no-pressure sales and honest advice from Tom. I will definitely be back More
