He was very excellent in his approach and was not at all pushy. He would not have cared if we walked out of there without a car! Jay Zoromski was out on the lot when we pulled in and directed us to a parking spot, the lot was quite full and no place marked for customer parking. After we parked he proceeded to question us on what we were interested in and was able to give us great information on Honda Odyssey vans. Showed us a few used vehicles and took us out on a test drive. We ended up purchasing the test drive van. Jay walked us through the entire process and was polite and knowledgeable about every aspect. I would deal with Jay again in the future. More

Surprisingly disappointing Unfortunately had a very unexpectedly poor experience. Purchased a used car from Wilde Honda a couple months ago, the car received an oil change from Unfortunately had a very unexpectedly poor experience. Purchased a used car from Wilde Honda a couple months ago, the car received an oil change from them and there was documentation to verify it. Due to it being synthetic oil another oil change wasn’t necessary until recently. Headed over to my local shop where I’ve taken numerous cars over the years with no issues. Pulled in and they came up from the underground bay and advised me that the oil plug was rounded. They attempted to remove it but had no luck. Someone over torqued the bolt and more than likely used the wrong size socket. Being that the last oil change was from Honda before I purchased the car, I had assumed that they would be willing to take responsibility for the damage and correct the simple problem. I contacted the salesman whom I purchased the car from and he mentioned I could bring the car in. I assumed it would be an easy fix for a careless mistake on their part. I’ve grown up seeing my father purchase numerous cars from Wilde and was excited to finally purchase one for myself. In total our family has bought 5 from them. This was easily the worst customer service experience from a usually good dealer. Upon arriving the salesman Mark took down some basic information about my problem with the car. Eventually the sales director came over and introduced himself. The used car sales director Ali did not seem interested in addressing my concerns; I never felt he was even listening to what I explaining. I instead received a lecture on always coming to the dealer for maintenance while they attempted to shift blame on my local shop. The lack of interpersonal communication skills shows as they formed their own perceptions early on instead of listening to my concerns about the plug (An $8 part that should have been fixed before the car left their garage). At one point I was finally escorted over to the service center, unfortunately it was quite busy so I agreed to stop by later in the day. I was told a technician would be made aware of my situation. I pulled up to the service center later that day and waited patiently for a representative. 10 minutes later and not a single person acknowledged me. It’s disappointing as there were only two other vehicles there, certainly not nearly as busy as earlier. I approached an older gentleman who seemed to have little interest in helping me due to his poor attitude. He didn’t seem to understand why I had brought the car back as I told him the plug was rounded and he responded “So..?”. At this point I would have been easily persuaded to never return if It weren’t for the great service from John K “Honda John”. He approached me and asked about the car, I briefly explained the situation and he directed me towards his desk. For the first time that day I experienced the customer service I expected. He listened to my concerns; he expressed empathy for the inconvenience and assured me the situation would be resolved. In little to no time he had the new oil plug ordered and asked me to return in the morning. Because of John’s exceptional customer service I would be happy to direct anyone towards him. It’s disappointing to see poor customer service and communication from a dealer we’ve been purchasing from over the years. The issue should have been addressed before the car was put on the lot. I wasn’t asking for anything beyond having the plug replaced and having it done the right way. My only request was a new OEM VW oil plug and washer. Again, it was frustrating as I expected much more from them. The follow up call on my voicemail from Ali included the line “Just doing a follow up phone call to make sure everything is okay.. I guess it was nothing.” I do believe that was a poor choice of words, as I didn’t feel the problem was nothing. If it was nothing I wouldn’t have brought it in to have it fixed properly. I had no interest in returning that follow up call. I will commend Honda John again on his service. He’s certainly a reminder that some individuals still work to provide the best service. More
Second Visit was the Charm! My first visit to Wilde Honda made me vow to never return! Salesman and manager were arrogant and didn't appear to care if I purchased a car or not. My friend encouraged me to return because Wilde did have the best price on my new car. The second visit, I met Chris Krause. He cared and appreciated my business. The 5 stars are for him. The finance person, William Pliss was good, as was Rod, used car manager. More
