Great service for out of state emergency service I was on my way to Minnesota for a school reunion when my car broke down and needed service. I made it to another Honda dealer in Madison but they we I was on my way to Minnesota for a school reunion when my car broke down and needed service. I made it to another Honda dealer in Madison but they were to busy to squeeze me in on a Friday afternoon. After calling East Towne Honda and them telling me they would squeeze me in either that evening before they closed or first thing in the morning. I managed to get half way there before my car required a tow. I managed to get my car towed there right after the service department closed for the day. The next morning I showed up at the dealership early. They squeezed me in and unfortunately found that my car was going to need a replacement engine. Based on a very long story involving a shady salvage yard and the replacement engine that was already in the car, I believed what they said. They offered to drive me to a car rental place so I could return to Indiana that weekend. Over the next couple of weeks Val Rich kept me informed and up to date on the repair and engine swap. In addition to taking great care of me, they even cut me a little break on the labor rate because of the horrible weekend I had had up to getting my car to Wilde East Town Honda. Excellent Service, Done Faster Than Expected I do not typically go to the dealer for oil changes or tire rotations; however, my vehicle was overheating and needed serious repairs. She was very patient as I described (in probably too much detail) what was wrong with my car, and listened to my uneducated hypothesis as to what was causing the issue. Later that afternoon, I was informed of the real issue and told up front the cost, the time for the part to arrive, and when it would be fixed. Surprisingly, everything was done when she said it would be and for a price under the original quote. She even stayed past her shift to go over the paperwork with me. Despite the horrors of having to pay for car repairs, Cheryl was very upfront with the cost and made the process easy. It is worth the drive out to East Towne Honda for the service. I even scheduled my other Honda's oil change there, because I was so impressed. More
