I originally planned on purchasing my new Accord Sport from another major Honda dealer in Madison due to the extremely low priced deal I was able to negotiate. Wilde Honda wasn't even in the plan, until I was pushed to go there by a close friend, who had just purchased from Wilde. In less than an hour of telling Todd the deal I was offered at the other dealership he and his manager were able to beat it, along with offer several different colors than were in stock across town. Immediately upon entering Wilde the environment was inviting and the people friendly. Todd's attitude and personality was phenomenal - definitely hard to beat. He was knowledgable, not the bit pushy on the deal or accessories and extras, and friendly. I would definitely recommend seeing Todd. When it came to the financing, Peter was extremely helpful as well. Honda Corp. gave him over an hour of time to explain the paper work and financial aspects of buying a car...he completed it with me in just over a half hour and I felt everything had been explained clearly and completely. Between the deal I got on this Accord and the friendliness of everyone at Honda Wilde I will definitely be recommending them to anyone I know who is in the new or used car market. More
I felt my experience was the result of a combination of minor instances that all ended up to a very bad one in the end. It started with the unpleasant phone call from another sales rep. Then it was Craig bashing that sales rep the entire time we looked at the vehicle. One or two comments were not necessary but would have been overlooked, and yet it went way beyond being professional as he could just not let it go. Then it was the van getting scratched while Craig was moving it. My husband and I felt very pressured to buy the car on site when we needed a few days to research and think about it all. Shawn and I agreed on a time for financing (knowing I had to be at work on time). I arrived on time, yet waited for 20 minutes before anyone helped me, which caused me to be late to work, which is a huge deal at my employment (and was addressed). When we test drove the vehicle, Craig told us we would get 3 months of XM radio, it came with the certification warranty (1 year/12,000 IN ADDITION to the factory warranty which was 10 yr/100,000 bumper to bumper). When I called to confirm we would get XM radio, Craig told me that he never said that. I called XM and they did in fact give us 3 months free of XM radio. The warranty was completely untrue and left us with a higher payment than expected. The car came without an owners manual so I called Craig to inquire and he informed to me to go on e-bay "Because with the good deal we gave you, you can afford to spend $20 on a manual." That was completely unprofessional in my opinion and to suggest I buy something on ebay which anyone could put together is ridiculous. I called Honda and they informed me that not only is it mandatory for certified cars to come with a manual, but with also a valet key which no one spoke to us about. Basically, if we left the lot and never questioned anything no one would have given us the items that were supposed to come with the car. And to finish, 2 days after purchase the bumper on the side popped out AND we had a flat tire. So based on the entire experience, I would say it was terrible. Like I said, if it was one or two of the above, I could have let it go. However, by not having the owner's manual in my car I am jeopordizing the safety of my children. I am a nationally certified car seat technician so I know the rules for properly putting in car seats. I can not safely install their car seats without both the owner's manual to the car and the manual to the car seat. And when I asked Craig if there were car seat technicians in the building that would help me install the seats, he informed me there were no such people. George (general manager) told me differently when I spoke to him. To me, it would seem that Wilde sells family cars yet does not pay attention to the lives of the children riding in the car. The owner's manual was the one thing that put me over the edge. If it would have been a simple over sight that would have been taken care of immediately, no big deal. But after the inapporopriate comment that was made and my time yet again used to research how to obtain an authentic manual, I felt the entire experience was unacceptable. I have been buying cars at a local competitor for 18 years and have NEVER encountered service such as this before. I suppose that is why my expecations might be a little high. More
We visited Wilde after trying to work with another Honda dealership in town. We were really dissapointed in that dealership and didn't feel comfortable buying from them. So, we decided to try out the new dealership in town. We were really dissapointed in that dealership and didn't feel comfortable buying from them. So, we decided to try out the new place in town - Wilde. We could not have been more pleased. We were treated with respect and treated to simple things that the other dealership never offered - asked to come inside, treated to coffee/water, given business cards and reading material. All of the things that you expect a dealership. Wilde did this and so much more. The new facilities are very nice and comfortable. The lot is easy to manuever and view. The people - from John our Sales Consultant, to the finance department, to many of the managers who were on staff that night - are incredibly friendly and accomodating. We purchased our brand new CRV from Wilde and could not be more happy with our purchase. This was our first time buying a car and Wilde made the process simple and understandable - and we got a great deal as well. Thank you, John and the team at Wilde! More

When I arrived at the dealership on 27 April 2013, I was greeted outside by Mr. Bindley, an affable fellow with a sunny disposition. I was interested in a Ridgeline, and he showed me two (the only two on greeted outside by Mr. Bindley, an affable fellow with a sunny disposition. I was interested in a Ridgeline, and he showed me two (the only two on the lot) that appeared in excellent condition but were a bit above my price range. Next, he showed me a Pilot and Element, which seemed more affordable, but it was really the Ridgeline that had captured me. Throughout my inspection of the vehicles, Mr. Bindley was very accommodating without "selling" me on any one vehicle, allowing me time to ponder how I might be able to afford the 2010 maroon Ridgeline that was the perfect vehicle for my needs. When I figured out in my mind that I could afford the Ridgeline, I mentioned this to Mr. Bindley, and he asked me if I wanted to take a test drive. I did. We were able to take the vehicle out on the highway so that I could see how it performed. Next it was inside to begin the paperwork and process the license plates. What impressed me the most was that Mr. Bindley took the time to answer or find an answer for every question I had. He was attentive, down-to-earth, and straightforward. In addition, he gave me a tour of the dealership, which I have to say is the most attractive dealership I have ever seen in WI, and I've seen quite a few. Overall, I was highly impressed with the professionalism, class, and diligence of Mr. Brindley. His grade fro me: A. My wife's comment (she of few words), when she met Mr. Bindley two days later: "I liked Sean." More
Yesterday I needed to visit the dealer in a mini emergency! A rodent found its way into my heating motor. Mike was great from the beginning! He was able to get me in right away genuinely realizing how the smell was affecting me. He was a perfect balance between humor and understanding. He took my situation seriously by working with his team to remove the deceased rodent but also made me laugh through the whole experience. He found a few other things that needed attention and sat down and explained the issues in a respectful and professional manner. I was so impressed with him and his customer serivce. Mike also introduced me to Joe, the service technician that worked on my car. I thought that this gesture showed Mike's respect for his whole team, taking the time to give credit to the person who did the job. Wow, I will definately visit this dealer again if all the employees are like Mike. Not only will I return to have my old Honda (with180K miles) serviced here but I will returnI buy my next Honda!
