Some Great, Some Not so Great. I came to the dealership to purchase a car with my son who had recently graduated from college. We dealt with Conor Kuhnau who was fantastic, He arra I came to the dealership to purchase a car with my son who had recently graduated from college. We dealt with Conor Kuhnau who was fantastic, He arranged test drives of several vehicles and was a pleasure to work with. We decided on a 2007 Accord at a great price. Prior to coming in, we received a preapproval from USAA with whom I've been banking with for over 30 years at an extremely low interest rate. USAA also put my son on the loan to help build his credit history. When I advised Conor that I planned on financing with USAA, used car manager Peter Wisniewski became involved and things went south fast. Peter first told me that the dealership could not except the draft check that USAA provided. I contacted USAA and arranged to have a bank check sent via Fed Ex only to be told by Peter that this too would not be acceptable as he would have to "hold" the vehicle until the following day when the check arrived which violated Wilde policy. I told Peter that USAA was a reputable bank which caters to veterans and their families. He was unimpressed stating that he had been "burnt" by them in the past. His only solution was to finance with a lender through the dealership, which couldn't match USAA's rate, and refinance with them later. Dealing with Peter was so frustrating that we almost walked out of the dealership. Had it not been for Conor and the great price we would have. Peter took what was otherwise an excellent experience and made it average. More
