Pat, I want to apologize for the poor service you received with the accident repair on your Crosstour. There were several complications that delayed completion of the work including two different insurance supplements (insurer had to come back in) that were needed beyond the initial estimate. Although this caused delays, we did not do a good job of communicating with you and explaining the details. We should not have relied on the insurance company and the body shop to keep you updated. That was our responsibility. I have used this as a training tool with my staff to improve our communications with our customers. I trust everything is now okay with your vehicle and it is running good. If not, or if you have any questions about the repairs made to your vehicle, please call me at (608) 316-2315. Sorry to hear about the issue with your used car. I checked with Jeff Fox and he showed me the text exchange with Madison from 12/24 and 12/25. He had requested to bring the vehicle in on 12/26. He didn't communicate with her after that since he assumed that the issue was taken care of. I spoke with service and they said that you did bring the vehicle in on 1/2/2020. Service did replace the valve cover assembly and cleaned up the engine compartment. Repairs were completed at no cost to you. Jeff Fox spoke to Madison on 1/7/2020 and there are no odor issues. We take pride in taking care of our customers and hope you experienced that once you came back in for the repair. I apologize for the inconvenience.
