A Good Result Due to the Efforts of Mike Boden Mike Boden deserves the highest possible "5" rating for turning around a bad situation he had inherited, and creating a good result for my family. I Mike Boden deserves the highest possible "5" rating for turning around a bad situation he had inherited, and creating a good result for my family. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a used car. After many twists and turns, Mike and his boss Al unwound the upper management decision to cancel my agreed purchase (backed by a signed contract!) and made sure that the price originally posted on line, then confirmed twice in writing, was finally honored. In addition, through weeks of bureaucratic delays (at the original owner's finance company, my insurance company, and two state DMV processes), Mike was helpful, sincere, sympathetic, understanding, and able to solve every roadblock encountered in this car sale. The dealership itself, however, is another story: After a test ride and returning moments later with a cashier's check for the full amount in my signed contract, I was told by the first sales guy (right after he had quit over this) that the owner of the dealership had "cancelled the sale" and "... would rather sell the car at auction ... " than at the quoted price. After he drove away I discussed this situation with his suddenly now ex-boss, Al, who promptly assigned Mike to the transaction. Thus began Mike's earning of top ratings in all aspects. So you can now see my rating dilemma: Mike, Al and the support staff were all wonderful, but the owner's attempt to cancel my purchase is the reason why I can't recommend the dealership and must rate them at the bottom for "friendliness" - while I can definitely recommend Mike who was extremely friendly!
