We have leased BMW's from this dealership for more than 12 years. From beginning to end we have found our salesman, Alan Himmelfarb, to be friendly, very knowledgeable, professional, and committed to helping us find the perfect BMW for us. Alan continually sent us updates on the progress of our car's production and on its projected delivery date to the dealership, which we really appreciated. He went above and beyond to make us happy. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Brian Sorce, the General Manager, who always greeted us with a friendly welcome as we entered the dealership. Nice to know we are valued clients. I would also like to give kudos to Fernando in the Detail Department. He made sure our new car was absolutely spotless right down to the sheen on our tires! We highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great deal and perfect experience leasing or buying a BMW. More

I have been an owner of a BMW since 2016 and of an Audi since 2007. In August of 2020, I purchased a vehicle from one of New Country Motor Group’s dealership—Wide World BMW Dealership in Spring Valley, NY. since 2007. In August of 2020, I purchased a vehicle from one of New Country Motor Group’s dealership—Wide World BMW Dealership in Spring Valley, NY. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. Emblematic of the experience, I took your dealership to small claims court, the judge ruled in my favor ordering the dealership to pay my rental fees (which is far from all the costs accrued), but your dealership has failed to pay the judgment. I am now asking the Court Clerk to have the Sheriff collect the payment. This is shocking. My experience with your dealership began at the time of purchase. The salesman (Brian Waters) lied at several points throughout the purchase of the vehicle, and the sales manager (William Gallagher) and general manager (Brian Sorcer) failed to address the lies of the salesman – which indicates to me that the disingenuous practices come from the “top” down of this organization. I had no option to file a complaint with small claims court. I had been servicing my vehicle with Wide World BMW Dealership and while I was in the dealership on August 29, I looked at the car inventory. I had started to look for a new car to purchase. Brian Waters (the salesman) showed me a 2020 courtesy X2 model. I did not find the base model appealing so left the dealership with no intention of purchasing a vehicle. Soon after I left, the salesman emailed me to inform me that there was another X2 available with the M sport package. I returned to the dealership, test drove the vehicle, and decided to purchase it. However, it was only after I signed what was a purchase agreement that the salesman Brian Waters disclosed that the car was not available on that date. Up to that point, there was absolutely no mention that the car was not available. I had been hoodwinked. The salesman then told me that the car would be available in a couple of days, and that he would deliver it to me on Wednesday (September 2). This turned out to be yet another lie. It took the dealership one month to deliver the car (September 26). During the one month period, I had to rent a vehicle, and again was told by the salesman that the dealership would cover the rental fees accrued (see attached). But when it was time for the dealership to reimburse me for the costs of the rental fees that they agree to pay, they did not. The dealership (Sales manager William Gallagher and General Manager Brian Sorcer) did not honor their word. I had to go through all the effort to file a claim in small claims, wherein the judge ruled in my favor. To add further insult to this whole process, William Gallagher stated that I knowingly traded in a vehicle that had problems. I find William Gallagher’s claim completely offensive. I had been servicing my vehicle with Wide World BMW Dealership and had just been told by the service department that it was in excellent condition. So, when I service the vehicle at the dealership, it is in excellent condition, but when I trade in the vehicle, it is not? Moreover, when your dealership sold my previous vehicle, there was no information at all on Carfax report that the vehicle had the problems they claimed it to have. I’m attaching the Carfax report here. This means that, either William Gallagher lied to me about my trade-in having problems to get out of paying for the rental (and the rest of the shoddiness) and the vehicle was in good condition as was told to me by their own service department and reported on Carfax OR William Gallagher lied to future customers by failing to disclose to Carfax the full history of the vehicle. Regardless, William Gallagher and your Wide World BMW are lying to customers. The favorable judgment from the small claims hearing does not undo all the misrepresentations and the emotional toil, time lost, and financial losses that resulted from Wide World BMW’s actions. I have spent countless hours dealing with the dealership. Moreover, the vehicle delivered to me was worth less than the one I agreed to purchase—it had one more month of wear and tear and an additional 2500 miles, compared to the vehicle I agreed to purchase. Finally, despite the small claims court ruling, your dealership has failed to pay the judgment. My experience with Wide World BMW Dealership in Spring Valley, NY has been one full of misrepresentations and outright lies. I expect more from any reputable dealership, and I certainly expected more from a BMW dealership. Wide World BMW dealership works like a sleazy used car lot than a dealership from a world class automaker. I will certainly not go through this awful experience in the future and am warning my family and friends about this unimaginable experience. I will also be posting a review on BBB’s website, highlighting my experience of having to go to small claims court and the dealership’s misrepresentation via omitting information from Carfax. Customers should be warned about Wide World BMW dealership’s shoddy sales practices. More
