I was in need of a new car, and when I entered the facility I was met immediately. I first met with Joe Fredrick (Sales Manger) who directed me to Nick Wilfinger. I was first given a tour of the deale facility I was met immediately. I first met with Joe Fredrick (Sales Manger) who directed me to Nick Wilfinger. I was first given a tour of the dealership to show there services prior to looking at a car, Nick, took his time and found the vehicle that fit my needs. I was really impressed when Nick came back to the dealership later that night after his shift ended to be sure the delivery of the vehicle went smoothly, and to finish the sale. My girlfriend and I had been looking for a few months for the perfect Jeep. We went to a few dealerships in the area and was just waiting for the perfect one. She found the vehicle online and we traveled ove the perfect Jeep. We went to a few dealerships in the area and was just waiting for the perfect one. She found the vehicle online and we traveled over to Wickstrom in Barrington. Right away we were met by CJ the sales rep. CJ was professional and very helpful. Right away he offered us coffeee/ drinks etc to help us feel welcome. It was towards the end of the night and he took his time to take us through the vehicles we were looking at. He pulled them into the building and showed us the specs on each one. He was great to work with and never once tried to push on the sale. CJ even took us through the shop and the sales floor showing us where everything was as far as service or waiting area. We ended up driving home the Jeep that my girlfriend picked out that night, we have never felt more comfortable at a dealership before. The financing manager was also very kind even though it was past closing hours. We would both recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. More
As potential repeat customers, we recently saw a vehicle advertised by Wickstrom that we wished to purchase. We learned that the vehicle was being held for a party that could not decide between it and anot advertised by Wickstrom that we wished to purchase. We were then delighted to eventually receive a phone call from the salesman, stating that Wickstrom was putting the vehicle back on the market. Our response was that we would be in the next day to purchase the vehicle. Imagine my disbelief when, after driving about 60+/- miles, I was told by the salesman that the owner of Wickstrom had sold the car to his neighbor, and that he did not have our cell number to reach us. Five days later, much to our amazement, the salesman contacted us again and told us that the owners' neighbor backed out of the sale, and that the car was now available if we were interested, and that he would "HOLD" it for us until we got there. I responded to him that I thought that Wickstrom had "HELD" the vehicle for us the first time! Ultimately we found a newer vehicle with more options, at a different dealer, for the same price. This experience, however soured us on doing any further business with Wickstrom. "Buyer Beware!" More

I bought my truck at Wickstrom. Had some problems with the truck and they were never fixed. In fact one of the problems is the power port in the back. Instead of fixing a $20 part, they would rather giv the truck and they were never fixed. In fact one of the problems is the power port in the back. I was also informed that Wickstrom did their own research and 95% of Fords, Lincolns and Mercury need alignments after 15K miles. Never heard of this one. Would have been nice to know this extra cost before I bought my truck More
