I used Wickstrom Ford's online "BUY NOW" process to initiate the purchase of a 2022 Ford Mach-E GT. My confirmation (which I printed) shows "YOUR PRICE" of $72,735, which is MSRP. It also listed all t initiate the purchase of a 2022 Ford Mach-E GT. My confirmation (which I printed) shows "YOUR PRICE" of $72,735, which is MSRP. It also listed all the various taxes and fees for a total out the door price. It directed me to contact the dealer to pay my deposit. I contacted the dealer when they opened in the morning and spoke with Robinson Logue. I was told that the vehicle was in stock, but they would be marking it up $5000 above what I was quoted. As further evidence of this deceptive advertising, the website page for this vehicle shows the same price of $72,735 (I have the screenshot.) After a discussion with Mr. Logue, I requested a callback from a manager. The manager (Ryan) explained that he didn't like the way the BUY NOW feature worked and admitted it was very misleading, but he said that he was sticking to the $5000 dealer markup because the vehicle is "in high demand" and that his markup is less than that of many other dealers. He apologized but offered no resolution. Emails to dealership management have gone unanswered. More
