Chris was wonderful to work with and I really feel like he went that "extra mile" to get me into the Jeep I wanted. I have purchased four Jeeps over the last twelve years at this dealership. All vehicles have been trouble-free, reliable and enjoyable to drive because of the vehicle; itself? no... because of the PEOPLE at Whitten Brothers . I have the personal cell number of my long-time sales associate, Mr. Grady Lane. What does that tell you? Any problem. I truly mean, with any problem I have experienced; he has seen to a speedy and complete resolution. This summer I purchased a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport with lots of extras. The rear driver's side tire just wouldn't hold air. Mr. Lane had made his commission, he works in sales, why bother to do anything else other than speak, say, "Hello, oh! I'm sorry." and walk away focusing on nothing else but the next sell and no one else but the next buyer? He rather took ownership (as he does with every customer) and I drove away with a new tire. Done! Done! And Done! My highest regards and recommendation to anyone who would love to get behind not only a FUN vehicle like a Jeep Wrangler ~ but ~ also behind one of the best managed car dealership families in The Commonwealth of Virginia! Through the entire period ALL service has been performed at Whitten, and almost always handled by Keith Williams. Keith is no doubt the classic "over and under" employee - over worked and under paid - and likely under appreciated. Keith has been the same over all these years - courteous and completely professional - ever anxious to help and always with the same pleasant demeanor. I live more than 100 miles away from this dealership. In fact, there are at least 4 jeep dealerships in my city that I am aware of (Hall, Southern, Starr, Greenbrier all in Tidewater). One of my best frie fact, there are at least 4 jeep dealerships in my city that I am aware of (Hall, Southern, Starr, Greenbrier all in Tidewater). One of my best friends is the major Ford dealer in the area as well; however, I wanted a very specific Jeep Wrangler. I went to the local Jeep Dealership and told a very nice salesman the specifics, met the manager, test drove the manager's jeep and was ready to purchase (and price was not an issue, I was ready to buy no matter what they quoted me). They told me they would call me with a quote once they had priced the custom package I was looking for (Black, 4 dr unlimited sport s wrangler, automatic, leather seats, 2.5" spacer lift and 35" tires with a soft top or dual top). A week went by and I never heard a word. Meanwhile, a friend of mine asked how my car shopping was going as he knew my car had been a total loss in a recent flood in the area. I told him my story, and he said you should call my friend Jimmy Whitten in Richmond. I left a message at the dealership stating we had a mutual friend and what I was looking for. Within one hour, Mr. Whitten had called me back, in the middle of a fishing trip he was on no less!!!! I gave him the info and within another 20 minutes, he had a salesperson, Margaret Hall contact me. She was fantastic and provided me with 3 different options for my customized request. While I did have to wait for the 2013 to be fabricated, I am now driving my dream car and have never been happier. I will easliy drive the 2 hours to this dealership for all service and most likely for future purchases (I guarantee I will buy another Jeep from them in my lifetime). Price may sell some people but the friendly service, follow through, and honest nature of these people have me sold; and I got a fantastic deal anyway. I would have paid more, but don't tell them that! More
Eric Chase was fantastic. He was extremely prompt at answering all of my questions and finding me exactly what I wanted in a vehicle. He spent almost 2 weeks with me and never made me feel pressured. All in all a Very good experience and purchase!! My Wife and I made the trip from Va Beach to see one vehicle in particular a 2011 Toyota 4runner fully loaded and had nice accessories and was practically br and I made the trip from Va Beach to see one vehicle in particular a 2011 Toyota 4runner fully loaded and had nice accessories and was practically brand spanking new only 13,000+ miles, dark grey it was everything that the wife and I wanted Sporty,4x4, some luxury, accessories, fuel efficiency then most SUV's. The wife and I looked at some other options then stated what we came to see test drove it. The sales person Eric Chase was knowledgeable and friendly. We sat down for about an hour while we were bartering the price and they pulled up our credit, they even took a couple hundred off the already low internet price by this time they were close to closing they kept the doors open to deal with us exclusively and even though we seemed some hard customers they were patient and explained all the benefits of all of their programs, warranties and incentives..they really worked with us for the deal we got 2.79 for 72mo.from our bank, what a steel! The Finance guy although late for a dinner obligation was patient and courteous even when he had to redo some paperwork because my wife gave them ID with her maiden name we walked out to our truck I played with the accessories linked in my Bluetooth and we drove home 150 miles only used 1/4tank Awesome!!! More

Although we have previously owned several high quality vehicles acquired elsewhere,we intend to obtain our next one at this dealership mainly because we are confident in receiving quality service and appreciate friendly treatment.
