Expectations Not Met My Wife got the vehicle in the color she wanted. The dealership had to get it from another one, so it had to be picked up and driven to Whitten Broth My Wife got the vehicle in the color she wanted. The dealership had to get it from another one, so it had to be picked up and driven to Whitten Brothers. Somewhere along the line, the vehicle acquired a little road damaged, a small rock ding right in the front of the hood. This was noticed on our inspection of the vehicle. We were informed this was not a big deal and could be easily repaired and would be as good as new. Ok, sounds good. So we bought it. While we were at it, we also bought the special treatment of the interior and exterior of the vehicle and scheduled an appointment for the treatment. About a week later, took the vehicle in for the scheduled interior and exterior treatment also expecting that the hood could along be taken care of at this time, but the Paint guy only works on Mondays. Ok. But when we can it in on a Monday, it will come out as good as new and the exterior treatment will be reapplied to the repaired hood area. Take the vehicle by on Sunday for a Monday service appointment. When my wife goes in to pick up the vehicle after the "paint job" and inspects the work, it looks worse and more noticeable than before. When she complains, she is told to do it right would take sanding or bodywork and the final paint job might not match up with the rest. Also that the additional work would go down in the vehicle's history and could hurt its resale value. (This could almost be interpreted as a threat) I'm not sure who is at fault here, Sales or Service. Both probably. More

She gave me the info I was looking for and was not pushy. We set up an appointment for a test drive. I went in for the test drive and a few hours later, I left with a new CX-5! It was a great buying experience. They were low key, not pushy. We were prepared to visit other dealerships to get the best price but we didn’t have to. They offered us a great price and we took it. No back and forth, no haggling. Our sales rep Gerald (with assistance from Nick) was very personable and knowledgeable. I’m so glad we visited Whitten first. Nick was great also. I will definitely recommend Whitten Mazda to others. As a matter of fact, I have already been telling others about my experience. More

My experienced started with reaching out via email to Gillian Hayes to negotiate a price, ask about financing and set an appointment to see/buy the car. Gillian was both timely and direct in her responses to my questions and made me comfortable with the process. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was greeted by name by several at my appointed time, and the car was waiting for me all shined up and ready to test drive. Bill Edwards in Sales was knowledgeable, affable and patient...someone you would choose to be a friend or neighbor. Finally, Jay Dawson explained finance options in detail, but with purpose...knowing no one wants to be sitting in his office for long once they have bought a new car! Also, the dealership itself was comfortable and uncluttered...and the remaining staff was welcoming and customer focused.
