Vehicle Purchase #8 or #9......? So, I am a 55 year old married guy & I have bought & sold a bunch of vehicles over the years for myself, my daughter, & my wife. In the past 20 years So, I am a 55 year old married guy & I have bought & sold a bunch of vehicles over the years for myself, my daughter, & my wife. In the past 20 years since I moved to Johnson County, Arkansas, I have bought & sold about 14 different vehicles. Of those I have bought I think 9 of those from Whitson Morgan Motor Company and the only reason I bought most of the others elsewhere was for good reason. Because Whitson Morgan didn't carry FJ Cruisers the first year they came out, or Hummer H3's the first year they came out, and didn't have any Hummer H3T's when I was looking for one of them. Only once have they lost my business due to not getting right on the price quick enough and that was in 2001 with a new Dodge Dakota Quad-cab 4X4. I bought one in Russellville because the same truck in a different color was $2,000.00 higher in Clarksville. A day after I bought in Russellville the Whitson Morgan salesman called back & offered me the one they had at what I had previously offered them. I preferred blue to white and wish I had not bought the white one when I did. Since then we have always been able to reach an agreement in a timely fashion. The salesmen there, most recently Wes Pearson on the last few vehicles, are always forthright and extremely knowledgeable. The owners/managers will sell at a fair price and they will give a good price for your trade. They will even get creative on trade-ins. I once traded a party barge in on one of the cars I bought. I have even traded a higher priced for a lower priced car where they owed me money after the swap. They value repeat customers and bend over backwards to make you happy. Several of the owners are friends of mine as are several of the salespeople and other employees. As has been the case for 20 years, they always get the first shot at selling me a vehicle if I'm looking for one! They are the A-Team when it comes to car & truck dealerships. Whitson Morgan is the best place to buy in all of Arkansas if you ask me. More
