The service that I received was a tune-up. Although I know they would be just checking to see if there was anything wrong, I didn't realize how expensive it was going to be. It turned out to be $80 more expensive than they had told me it was going to be and the price was already up over $200, which I think is a little steep. Nice staff, comfortable wait, horrible price. I came in for a routine oil change and to check on noises being made by the braking system. I especially appreciated the way Brian keep me informed when it was discovered that the drive belt would also need being made by the braking system. I especially appreciated the way Brian keep me informed when it was discovered that the drive belt would also need replacing due to a crack. He was concerned that it would involve a longer waiting time than I had anticipated and was quick to keep me updated on the progress of the servicing. Fortunately, I had a good book so everything went smoothly. Brian is a good service advisor - definitely a "keeper" for Alan Nott! More
I was able to get my van in for service the same day I called. The staff was accomodating to when I wanted to drop the van off and pick it up. My Pilot needed a 100,000 mile service. After just about every belt, fluid and plug was replaced as part of routine service, I whole-heartedly appreciated the detail service that was added in. My recent service experience was very good; the news i got was not so much. A vibration when I drove my CR-V brought me into the dealership. The diagnosis was that I needed a new drive shaft. With 260,000+ miles on the vehicle, it wasn't totally unexpected...just bad timing for my finances.(And my first CR-V had 380,000+ miles on it (with no service issues) when I sold it, so I was spoiled) The Customer Service Man was very pleasant and while he was a bit unexperienced, was very accomodating and helpful. The folks in the waiting area were asked nearly every 10 minutes if we needed beverages or anything and that was very thoughtful. My options were explained, decisions were made and I made another appointment for a week later to install a new driveshaft. Our last 2 of 3 vehicles were purchased at Allan Nott and we plan to make our next 2 purchases there as well. More
This was the first time to the service dept. since I purchased my CRV last spring. I dropped the car off the evening before the appointment and found this to be an easy and safe experience. It was time for an oil change and general service check. Also, had some issues with the battery and tire pressure. All was taken care of in a kind and professional manner.
