He is pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and quietly ensures the customer’s service experience is positive from beginning to end. I was recently lucky enough to have him take care of our Rav-4, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who wants a car serviced properly with the least amount of fuss. The old ad: “Leave the driving to us” could be paraphrased: “Leave your service in the hands of Dan Rock.” Well done! More

Went to this dealership where I have bought 4 Toyota's since 1994, Chris Killmer has been my salesman every time, would recommend him highly.Going to a family funeral on Saturday, Sept 14th, need Toyota's since 1994, Chris Killmer has been my salesman every time, would recommend him highly.Going to a family funeral on Saturday, Sept 14th, needed to get my oil changed before leaving, the service dept got me right in, the very nice guy who greeted me when I drove in, came out to the waiting area WITH the air filter from my car to ask if I wanted to change it as it had some debris in it. I replied that I've been out of work for 5 wks after surgery on my back, I didn't think I had enough in my checking to cover the cost. He went back out to the service area, 5 minutes later I asked him if he thought the oil change guy would use an air hose to blow the debris out given the filter wasn't in that bad condition. He replied I think so.... While they finished the car, I checked to see if I could buy the filter. Turns out I could, so I decided to spend my $$ there. The next morning when I changed the filter, it still had the same debris in it!! It wouldn't have taken more than 60 seconds to blow out the filter! Makes me wonder what the guy said changing the oil? Was it "screw him, he won't buy the filter so he gets what he gets?" Who's coaching these guys with customer service in that department? This was a real disappointment, to me it's the little things that keeps people coming back no matter what the business. Ed DeNike More
I took my aging Tacoma to White River Toyota for service. I was met by Service Advisor Dana Raney who signed me in and made me feel confident my truck was in good hands. As problems with the truck surfaced, I was met by Service Advisor Dana Raney who signed me in and made me feel confident my truck was in good hands. As problems with the truck surfaced, Dana kept me apprised and was careful to explain what needed to be done, what might be done, and what could wait. He let me know exactly what costs were involved and not only made sure I understood what was going on, but that every decision was mine to make. There was no push for “extras” or the slightest suggestion of doing more than was absolutely necessary to keep the truck road worthy. I thank Dana for his conscientiousness and for guiding me through what could have been a service nightmare. I have come to expect such excellence at White River Toyota, and Dana is a fine addition to this superb service department. More
Today, I took our Rav-4 in for service and to have the summer tires put back on. Dana Raney quickly let me know my old tires were questionable, but made it clear I could probably make it a few more months summer tires put back on. Dana Raney quickly let me know my old tires were questionable, but made it clear I could probably make it a few more months on them - no hard sell here. This is my wife's car, so I decided to upgrade. Knowing little about tires, I went to Pete Stoddard (manager/owner) who has always made himself available should we have any questions or want a second opinion. He immediately dropped everything and introduced me to Todd Peck, the Parts manager. They asked me pointed questions about where and during what seasons the tires would be used and then made recommendations. Todd put what he had been doing on hold so he could check inventory after which he again conferred with Pete and me. Once they found the perfect tires for our needs, Pete Stoddard accompanied me back to Dana to assure absolute continuity. An hour later, Dana had the car ready and meticulously went through every aspect of the service. He even shared his personal experience with the chosen tires (excellent). The bottom line is that White River Toyota more than lived up to its reputation today. When they say: "It's all about people," they believe it and bend over backwards to make the experience as effortless as possible. I felt as if I had known these three gentlemen for years and they could not have treated me better had they been family. I cannot emphasize strongly enough how superb an outfit White River Toyota is and would not consider going to another dealer. In this day and age, it is indeed heartening to know there are still those out there who care enough to do the very best they possibly can. If you want the ultimate in expertise as well as a warm and friendly atmosphere, this is the place to take your Toyota (or to buy a new one!). More
Eric Hard of White River Toyota’s service department is the ultimate professional. He is usually able to diagnose a car’s problem right at the counter, and he always manages to get the vehicle repaired in the ultimate professional. He is usually able to diagnose a car’s problem right at the counter, and he always manages to get the vehicle repaired in a timely and complete manner. Best of all, he treats his customers like real people and bends over backwards to make sure they are inconvenienced the least possible. Yesterday I took in my old Tacoma truck that had developed a suspicious drip. Within minutes of my arrival, Eric confirmed the oil pan had rusted out and needed to be replaced - a major repair. When he learned I would have to wait, having no means of getting a lift, he somehow found me a “loaner” which gave me back a full day of my life. To me, this is going “above and beyond,” but it is typical of the extra care Eric gives to his customers. The service department at WRT has several excellent advisors (Alicia and Dan come immediately to mind), but if you are lucky enough to get Eric, you can have complete confidence that you will receive the best and most personal attention possible. Having to deal with the inconvenience of a car repair is, at best, annoying, but knowing you can rely 100% on Eric Hard is priceless. Congratulations and thank you! More
I have brought my car here for 10 years. I now have 214,400 miles on the car and feel safe driving it with White River Toyota servicing it. They do a great job and working with Aletia makes the experience that much more pleasant. She listens to my issues and gets them taken care of. I particularly enjoy the fact that they not only do what needs to be done but also check the car for other issues, while it is there and keep me informed of what needs to be done as well as how much it will cost before they do any work on my vehicle. My car is in tip top shape due to them. This is my 4th Toyota and I would buy another one and bring it to be serviced at White River Toyota. More
I travel 500 miles a week to and from work. There has been more than one time that I have had a major issue with my car while on my way to work at 6AM. White River Toyota is close to my job and when thes been more than one time that I have had a major issue with my car while on my way to work at 6AM. White River Toyota is close to my job and when these issues came up, I just showed up at the garage "looking pitiful" in the hope that they would be able to not only fit me in without an appointment , but also get me to my job as a nurse in the next town over. Both times, I was greeted with a smile and an assurance that they could in fact fit me in at some point during their day. Of course this could Never happen on a slow day...... It happened on a Monday morning and a Friday morning, yet I was not turned away or looked at like I was a crazy person for asking for same day service. Neither of these jobs were quick or easy ones , yet this dealership was more than willing to take me in. The price for the work was more than reasonable and they even offered to pick me back up at the hospital where I work later in the day in order to get my car back. I particularly enjoy the fact that they not only do what needs to be done but also check the car for other issues, which I have not had, while it is there and keep me informed of what needs to be done as well as how much it will cost before they do any work on my vehicle. I live 50 miles from this dealership and while I have a Toyota dealer in my town, I would not hesitate to take my car to White River Toyota if it ever needed service. While my local dealer also does a good job, it is often difficult to get in for an appointment. I would highly recommend White River Toyota to anyone looking for honest, reliable service for their car. Deb Goodrich More
I found the customer service in the Service Center very poor. They didn't seem to care, didn't remember I had made an appointment, didn't care that I had to drive for 2 hours to get there, didn't express a poor. They didn't seem to care, didn't remember I had made an appointment, didn't care that I had to drive for 2 hours to get there, didn't express any concern for the status of my car's problem - a problem which even Toyota shook its head over. One part was available - in Boston and when I called to check 24 hours later they STILL didn't know if it would be available. No loaner car. All in all, I was in quite a fix and they could have cared less. A magic sentence would have cured so much, "Gosh, it sounds like you're in a fix. Come down this afternoon at X o'clock and lets see how we can help you." Service at this dealership is not what is was. I have owned 8 Toyotas, 7 of them purchased from this dealer. I am looking at other brands now. More
