In the past corrosion on the wheals had led to air leaks, so on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, I left my car at the White River Toyota dealership to have the rims ground and the seals secured for a trip to New York this week. Surprisingly on Thursday morning, January 21, the dash board alert flashed on. I took the car to the dealership. A full inspection found no leaks and the seals secure. That evening the alert came on again. On Friday, January 22, I returned for an inspection of the sensors, etc. to discover what the problem was. Again, no loss of air pressure but the discovery that our 2006 Highlander reset procedure requires waiting for a light to blink three times, sometimes requiring as much as five minutes. The technician or technicians who had earlier worked on our older car evidently were not aware of the length of time required for resetting the tire pressure indicator and thus all this time I was receiving inaccurate tire low pressure warnings. It’s important to note that I was very frustrated when I came in on Thursday after the car had spent all of Wednesday in the dealership and became all the more frustrated on Friday to discover the alert on once again. At no time did Michael Savery, my service writer, respond to my agitation and frustration with anything but professionalism. That Friday afternoon, upon learning what the real problem had been I not only thanked him for remaining cool while I was so frustrated and annoyed but said I wanted to alert the dealer’s ownership of his remarkable behavior in the face of the issue I had brought to him. Thank you for this opportunity. In Michael you have a remarkable employed who will continue to bring you returning and satisfied customers. I have to thank Jeremy Bartlett as well. It was he uncovered the problem and alerted Michael and me of the need to wait for that third blink before taking one’s finger off the reset button. More

I was assisted by Nathan who was professional and understanding of my problem. I was expecting that I would not see my vehicle for a few days. To my surprise I received a call that same day that my car was ready. Yea! When I picked my car, I felt that I had made a new friend (Nathan) who cared. White River Toyota is truly a class act. More

Mr Jarvis kept me informed in every step of the job, and since the car was in the shop for several days was able to get me a loaner car which was invaluable to me. Your folks are friendly, give me honest advice, and in return they have my thanks and my loyalty. Sincerely yours, Peter Graves More
